This article draws significantly from the 1805 book entitled, The Destruction of Jerusalem, An Absolute and Irresistible Proof of the Divine Origin of Christianity by George Peter Holford, available from the IPA website (

A narrative of calamities which befell the Jews so far as they tend to verify our Lord’s predictions relative to the destruction of Jerusalem, and our Lord Jesus ratifying the Spiritual Covenant at the end of the Covenant of law Heb. 8:13. A. D. 70.

            First and foremost, I encourage the reader of this lesson to take your Bible down, read the Scripture given in support of this postulation, and make a vow to yourself that you will realize that if you read {out of} what the Scripture actually says instead of reading {into it} what you want it to say, you will see so much you have missed over the years.

            Second with equal importance; if you read, what do you really want to read, Truth, or more dooms day prophecy which has been a hindrance to knowing the truth of God’s Word for more than three hundred years? If you read out of the Scripture what it really says, instead of listening to the modern day preachers, who is making millions off of scare tactics used worldwide; then you can come to the truth. The Lord’s Church today has been paralyzed by its eschatological obsessions. In short dooms day prophets, who constantly are predicting the second coming of Christ, the coming resurrection, the coming judgment upon the world, and then world burning.

            Before we get into the body of the lesson, and in order that you may better understand my position please read out Gen. 8:20-22, God will never again curse the earth as He once did because of sin; and never again will He destroy every living thing as He once did. Then notice the following Scriptures throughout the Bible, which clearly and absolutely shows irresistible proof that God has no intention of destroying the earth by fire, or even the earth moving out of place. See Eccl. 1:4; Psalms 78:69; Ps. 93:1; Ps. 104:5; Ps. 119:90; Ps. 148:1-6; Dan. 2:44; Dan. 7:13-14.

            But many unbelievers have interpreted the predictions of Jesus during His Discourse on the Mount of Olives in {regards to His second coming} as positive proof that Jesus was simply mistaken! And therefore they have concluded that Jesus was mistaken and Christianity is false!

            Now are you ready to discuss with me the calamities, which befell the Jews? Are you ready to learn that these calamities were intended for the Jews {Israel} only? Are you ready to learn that these Gentile nations were selected by God to bring destruction upon the Jews? Are you ready to learn, that 2 Pet. 3:10, is not speaking in regards to destruction coming upon Gentile nations, rather Israel? Other pertinent question and statements I will ask before presenting the destruction of Jerusalem.

What does the Scripture plainly record in regards to dooms day prophecy in this century? Have you read the prophet Zechariah 13:1-3, “In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for impurity {that day refers to the destruction of Jerusalem} verse 2. And it will come about in that day, declares the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove from the land prophets and the unclean spirit from the land. V 3, and it will come about that if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, you shall not live, for you have spoken falsely in the name of the Lord; and his father and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies”. This leaves the Apostle John between a rock and a hard place. You see, if John prophesied after the day Of destruction Luke 21:20,22, then this makes him a false prophet; but God will not stand for this; John foretold of the destruction of Jerusalem in the Revelation, just as did his forerunner Daniel. The prophet Zechariah clearly shows the destruction of Jerusalem and Christ’s coming as He stood upon the Mount of Olives; the saving of the remnant Zechariah 14:1-9.

            {See also Deut. 18:15-22} But, we the people are guilty of allowing these prophets to survive; not God. We allow them to survive because of lack of knowledge. Isaiah 5:13,” therefore my people go into exile for their lack of knowledge”. The only way we will escape exile is to follow the Apostle Paul’s teaching in 2 Tim. 2:15,”Study to show thyself approved of God correctly handling the words of truth”. Only in this way can we learn about the Israelites and their problems with God, and God’s punishment upon the unfaithful Jews. Notice here carefully to those who tries to convince you that the book of Revelation was written after the destruction of Jerusalem, therefore, all things is yet to be fulfilled in our future; here is the problem in spite of Rev. 1:1 ”the time is at hand”. Rev. 1:3, “for the time is near”. God informed Daniel to seal up his writings for the time is yet future, the end time, the destruction of Jerusalem, Dan. 12:4, the end time Dan. 12:6,7.

            So in Revelation 22:6, “shortly to take place”, verse 10,” do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book the time is near”, verse 12, “I am coming quickly”, verse 20 “Yes I am coming quickly”. So now, if the book of Revelation was written after the destruction, then there remains yet another Destruction of Jerusalem! But that is not the greater problem; remember Zechariah 13:3, if after that day the day when Jerusalem were to be destroyed if anyone prophesied after that day, his mother and father were to run him through with the sword, for he was a false prophet. Have you considered this before, especially in this light for Luke 21:20, 22 speaks of the destruction of Jerusalem, and then says, ”These are the days of vengeance that all things written may be fulfilled”.

            The dooms day prophets denies these scriptures, and claim great power for themselves, saying that God came to them in the night, and revealed to them what they must teach and prophesy. But the Holy Spirit in 1 Cor. 13:8, informs us that prophecy and tongues will be done away with, it will cease, 1 Cor. 13:10, informs us when this will take place, when the perfect comes, and the prophet Zechariah 14:4, informs us with absolute truth, with irresistible proof, Christ came when Jerusalem were being destroyed.

            False prophets! False prophets; they have been around in other ages, prophets whom God did not send. Notice carefully Jeremiah 23:25-32; Jer. 27:9-10, 14; Jer. 28:9; Jer. 29: 8-10. Jeremiah was a prophet in the land of Israel during the three carrying away of Israel to Babylon in the years 606 B.C. 596 B.C. 586 B.C. Since this period of time as well as thousands of years before such has been a practice by those who rejects God’s prophets, and His word. Jeremiah 23:20 is a very interesting verse, ”The anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has performed and carried out the purpose of His heart; in the last days you will clearly understand it”. Jeremiah helps us today to understand what God had in store for Israel, and Judah, Jer. 7:21-34. Is not the modern day prophets the same as we read about in Jer. 14:10-16?

            So, what action has the God of Heaven taken against Israel, Judah and the false prophets? Jeremiah informs us Jer. 3:6-14, “faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce v-8, Verse 10, and yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me with all her heart, but rather in deception, declares the Lord”. Verse 14, “return 0 faithless sons, declares the Lord for I am married to you”.

            Jeremiah 22:25-27, “I shall give you into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon”. Jer. 25:9-12, “behold I will take all the families of the north, declares the Lord, and will send to Nebuchadnezzar {My servant} and will bring them against this land, and against these nations round about, I will utterly destroy them. Verse 12, “when seventy years is completed I will punish the King of Babylon and that nation”. In every nation where the Jews dwell God will bring them out for destruction, and will punish them. Notice here that the first carrying away was in 606 B.C. in 70 years the Jews will be set free, in or about 536 B.C. Notice again here that God states He would punish the King of Babylon and that nation. It is important to remember that this is the beginning of the end for physical Israel, and Judah.

            Corresponding with the first carrying away in 606 B.C. it would be 70 A.D. or 606 years before Jerusalem would be destroyed. In this fact we are to understand that God gave final time windows for the destruction of Jerusalem He done so in metaphorical language in order that no one of that age could interpret the time window. In fact this was all a “Mystery”, {see 1 Cor. 2:6-8; Rom. 16:25; Eph. 3:8-10; Col. 1:24-27}.

            Remember in Jer. 25:12, where God declared that He would punish the King of Babylon, and that nation? Well, I have said this was the beginning of the end for Israel and Judah. Going forth from Jer. 25:12 to Isaiah 13: 1-22, through Isaiah God is revealing the destruction of Babylon; but look at the metaphorical language, the whole destruction of Babylon is hidden in metaphorical language, such as— “Every man’s heart will melt; Behold the day of the Lord is coming; the stars of heaven and their constellations will not flash forth their light; the sun will be dark; the moon will not give its light; the heavens will tremble, the earth shaken out of place. Sounds something like Peter describing the destruction of Israel Judah, and Jerusalem? In 2 Pet. 3:1-18, sounds like a great war in Dan. 8:9-10.

            Don’t forget we have shown almost to the week, or month from the first carrying away of the Jews to Babylon 606 B.C. until the time when Jerusalem would be destroyed; 606 years dating to A.D. 70. We have seen this one world empire fall in Isa. 13:1-22; but there is three more world empires which must rise and fall before the fall of Jerusalem comes. Now we will go to the prophet Daniel to observe the four world empires beginning with Babylon.

            Daniel 2:1-49, the first of this chapter is taken up with King Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon and his dream that troubled him and left him without sleep; then the King gave orders to call in all the magicians, the conjurers, the sorcerers and the Chaldean’s to tell the King his dreams, and its interpretation, finally in verse 10 the Chaldeans informed the King there was not a man on earth who could declare the matter for the King. Verse 13, the King gave a decree that all wise men should be killed.

Now after Daniel had made up his mind to serve God, Dan 1:8. God in His own way had caused the King to appoint Daniel and his three friends as wise men. Verse 14-18 Daniel asks the King for extended time to seek God in prayer, asking God’s intervention into the matter. Verse 19, the “Mystery was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. Verse 28, Daniel said to the King; however, there is a God in Heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days. Then Daniel informs the King of his dream and again informs him that it is the God of Heaven who reveals mysteries, this mystery the King was concerned deeply. Daniel informs him of the great and awesome statue, made up of four components, the head was fine gold, its breast and arms of fine silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.

            You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay, and crushed them; this is the same stone, and Kingdom of Dan. 2:44-45. Verse 36, this was the dream; now we will tell its interpretation before the King. You O king, are the King of Kings, you are the head of gold. {Number 1} And after you there will arise another Kingdom inferior to you. {Number 2} Then another third Kingdom of bronze, which will rule over all the earth. {Number 3} Then there will be a fourth Kingdom as strong as iron; inasmuch as iron crushes and shatters all things, so, like iron that breaks in pieces, it will break and crush all these pieces. {Number 4} Therefore, God has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar that including his Kingdom, there will be Four world empires which must rule the world, and oppress and persecute the Jewish people before the end of the age should come upon the Covenant of the Jews to destroy the people, and their Covenant Heb. 8:13.

            Deut. 28:1-14, “God’s blessings upon all Israel provided they diligently obey God and be careful to do all His commandments”.

            Deut. 28:15-48, “but, it shall come about, if you will not obey the Lord your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I charge you today, that all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you”

            Deut. 28:49-68, “Then the Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the ends of the earth, as the eagle swoops down, a nation whose language you shall not understand, a nation of fierce countenance who shall have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young”. {The Fourth Empire Rome.} Deut. 31:16-18; Deut. 32:18-19;

            Deut. 31:21, God foreknew at the beginning of this people that they would turn against Him, as He related to Moses; but He used them to bring the world to Christ, therefore the Covenant He gave them was limited in time; unlike the Spiritual Covenant which Christ would ratify for eternity, without end Isa. 9:6-7; Dan. 2:44-45; Dan. 7:14. These scriptures are used by God to denote the end of Israel, the last days of the commonwealth of Israel and Judah when their Capital City of Jerusalem would be destroyed Isa. 25:2, A city and temple which will never be rebuilt, Isa. 25:2, Isa. 24:20-23, speaks of the destruction and notes that it will never be rebuilt. Phrases such as “in that day” refers to Zechariah 14:1-9 when Christ comes to direct the destruction of Jerusalem, Isa. 26:1-5, Isa. 32:13-20, the City forsaken. Concerning judgment of the Jewish temple Matt. 23:37-39. Matt. 24:1-3, temple destruction foretold. Luke 21:20, Jesus Himself foretells the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. The above has been given in hopes that the reader may know without doubt that God before He came to the place where He would give a time table for the total fulfillment of His plan for man; that He had given ample warnings of the end of the age, Israel, Judah, Jerusalem, and the temple.

            Back to Daniel 2:46-49, the King of Babylon gives praise to Daniel’s God, and confesses that Daniel’s God is a revealer of mysteries; then the King promoted Daniel and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief perfect over all the wise men. Daniel now has control over the affairs of his people who are in Babylon as slaves, and before the King might have a change of mind Daniel makes a request of the King, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the administration of the province of Babylon. It seems as though God Daniel and his three friends are now in control of Babylon.

            Chapter 3 of Daniel is taken up with King Nebuchadnezzar building a huge furnace, wherein he calls all people come and bow down and worship the god of Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel’s three friends are caught up into this event, the King orders them to bow down and worship, or else be thrown into the burning furnace; they refused and the King had them thrown into the furnace, after they have had time to be consumed the King looked into the furnace ad saw four men walking around in the flames, the fourth looked like the son of the god’s; they were called out and the King caused them to prosper in the province of Babylon.

            Dan. 4:1-37, verse 4, “I Nebuchadnezzar, was at ease in my house and flourishing in my palace. I saw a dream and it made me fearful; and these fantasies as I lay on my bed and the visions in my mind kept alarming me”. So, I gave orders to bring into my presence all the wise men of Babylon that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream. But finally Daniel came into me whose name is Belteshazzar according to the name of my god, I related the dream to him, 0 Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians tell me the visions of my dream, which I have seen along with the interpretation. Verses 10-19, the dream of the great tree, which reached into the heavens. Verse 20, the tree that you saw, which became large and grew strong, whose height reached to the sky and was visible to all the earth. Verse 22, It is you 0 King for you have become great and grown strong, and your majesty has become great and reached to the sky and your dominion to the end of the earth. And in that the King saw an angelic watcher, a holy one, descending from heaven and saying, Chop down the tree and destroy it, yet leaving the stump with its roots in the ground, but with a band of iron and bronze around it in the new grass of the field.

            Meaning that the stump could not sprout new growth; neither could King Nebuchadnezzar after his tree was cut down, he could not rule his empire, or have nothing to offer the administration of Daniel and his three friends, which he alone appointed to rule over the province of Babylon, Dan. 2:48-49. However, at the time that the King appointed Daniel, he had not received the dream of the huge tree, so we may see the hand of God at work here, especially since the King would be out of power for seven periods, or seven years while the King was away working on his sentence of seven years. Verses 24-28 Daniel interprets the Kings dream, and begs him to repent of his evil deeds, and turn to God in case God might prolong your prosperity.

            It is well to mention at this point in regards to the King; it seems as though God had given him every chance to turn and recognize that it was God that set him in power, and God that chose him as an instrument to punish Israel, and Judah; rather the King boasted of how he alone, ”which I myself have built as a royal residence”. It is clearly seen that the King of Babylon was no different that the Jews which were in his captivity. Perhaps it can be seen more clearly why God stated that He would use King Nebuchadnezzar as His “servant”, Jer. 25:9, then in Jer. 25:12 says that when 70 years is completed “I will punish the King of Babylon and that nation, declares the Lord”. It is in the human mind to imagine any test of divine authority better adapted, sooner or later, to expose the artifices, and frustrate the designs of an imposter such as the King.

            Without question we can see the beginning of the end for King Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon. The prophecies of our God, as well as His miracles in Daniel, were many and of great variety during the administration of Daniel, while the fulfillment of some of these predictions was confined to the term of Daniel’s mission and the limits of his countrymen. We see partial fulfillment of God’s plan in verse 33, “Immediately the word concerning Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled”. Thus learn that God’s, plan for the destruction of the Jews were laid out precisely, strictly accurately without flaw. The nation of Babylon was chosen by God as the beginning of the end, the first nation, the first King, Nebuchadnezzar, not the father of Nebuchadnezzar; but Nebuchadnezzar himself, and that at a certain year in history, the beginning of a time window for the fulfillment of the old Covenant, Heb. 8:13

            Nebuchadnezzar returns after a period of seven years, Dan. 4:34, I Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him, Verses 35, 36, and 37, the King recognizes that no one can stay God’s hand in this plan for Babylon and Israel, Judah, and Jerusalem, but is able to humble those who walks in unbelief and pride.

            Nebuchadnezzar dies, the Queen mother lives on. The older son of the King rules as crown prince, while Daniel is freed from Nebuchadnezzar’s appointment as ruler over the whole province of Babylon, Dan. 2:48. There was three sons’ who ruled Babylon along with the Queen mother. Daniel done no writing during the reign of three son’s; but when the last son came up “Belshazzar” then Daniel wrote chapter 7, and chapter 8, and then chapter 5, which brings to a close the Babylonian Empire, and the first time window of God’s plan fulfilled. In Chronological order we will study chapter 7:1-8, next. In the first year reign of Belshazzar King of Babylon Daniel saw a dream and vision in his mind as he lay on his bed; then he wrote the dream down and related the following summary of it.

             We will notice here that in Daniel chapter 2, Daniel after receiving revelation from God as to the meaning of Nebuchadnezzar’s great statue which represented four world empires which would rise and fall at God’s given time; this statue was composed of four distinct materials, the head of gold, the arms and breast of fine silver, the belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron and clay its feet partly of iron and clay. Now God is showing Daniel in this vision of chapter 7, the same empires which would rise and fall; but here He uses four great beast which would arise from the sea, Daniel was greatly disturbed regarding the four beast coming up from the sea, in verse 16 Daniel asks one of the angels standing by for the interpretation of these things, verse 17, the angel informs Daniel that these great beast which are four in number are four kings which will arise from the earth. Notice Babylon is not deleted from this number; the reason at chapter 7 we are only in the first year reign of Belshazzar king of Babylon. Next we will go to chapter 8 for the third year reign of Belshazzar; then we go back to chapter 5 for the end time for Belshazzar, and the nation of Babylon.

            Daniel said, I was looking in my night vision by night, and behold, the four beast of heaven were stirring up the great sea. And four great Beast were coming up from the sea different from one another. Four great beast coming up from the sea. {See v 17}

            Beast # 1, the first was like a lion and had wings of an eagle, I kept looking until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man, a human mind was given to it. In ancient dynasty’s of Babylon we find huge stone carvings of kings along side of a lion with wings the first Babylonian dynasty is recorded in 3050 B.C. History records Babylon as being an aggressive empire, fast moving, vicious. During the 19th dynasty Nebuchadnezzar’s father established the 19th dynasty, Nabopolassar. The description of the first beast correctly fits the character of Babylon. The 19th dynasty lasted 76 years.

            Beast # 2, and behold, another beast, a second, resembling a bear. And it was raised up on one side, and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth, and thus they said to it, Arise, devour much meat!

            Beast # 2 Represents Medo Persia. Why Medo Persia? The Median Empire was established in 640 B. C. the Medes became independent under Phaortes. After God commissioned Cyrus Isa. 44:28; Isa 45:1-3 to obtain rule over Persia, it was God’s plan for Cyrus to continue to recognize that the Median Empire was God’s choice to destroy the empire of Babylon, after which the Median Empire would blend into the Persian Empire under God’s servant Cyrus. The Medes would come into Babylon under the water Gates of the canal, which ran through the City, the Medes took the City in one night, following God’s plan. Medo Persia reigned as an empire for 204 years.

            Beast # 3, After this I kept looking, and behold another, one, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it. This beast represented Greece, Dan. 8:21, Alexander the great; his four heads represented the four field generals of Alexander the great, Dan. 8:8, Cassander; Lysimachus; Sefercius; Ptolemy Soter. Alexander the great with a small Army, and as a young general came against Persia who boasted of having over 6 million foot soldiers, as well as one half million horsemen, and 200 elephants, but Persia could not fight against God, it was God’s plan for Greece to overcome Persia. In eight years Alexander swept through the empire of Persia to the west coast of Canaan, overthrowing the port city of Tyre. Which had rebuilt after the attack by the King of Babylon, the Island City resisted King Nebuchadnezzar for 13 years, Ezek. 26:1-21, 594 B.C. After 8 years Alexander died from falling off his horse and doing damage to his lungs. His four field generals divided the kingdom four ways and became Kings of the division.

            Beast # 4, after this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beast that was before it, and it had ten horns. While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth uttering great boasts.

            It is worthwhile here to record some ancient history; which clearly shows that not only did God prepare King Cyrus to rule Persia during the closing years of the exile of the Jews in Babylon; but He also at these same times were preparing an unknown small country known later as the Etruscans which was a cruel warring country, who resided in the swamp lands on poled huts; they rose in population and begin to conquer greater land area. As God had plans for them to develop into the warring nation of Rome which would by power given them by God, bring about the rise of Rome to world domination, and close out by destruction to Israel and Jerusalem the end of the old world known as the Covenant of law by Moses Heb. 8:13; Heb.9:8, “The Holy Spirit is signifying this that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing”. The first must decay and be removed before the New is made known, or revealed by the Apostles Covenant of Jer. 31:29-31ff must be ratified by Christ after the destruction of Jerusalem.

1. Pompey  {52-49 B.C. Sole ruler of Rome}

2. Julius      {47-44 B.C}.

3. Augustus [Octavian 31 B.C to 14 A.D}

4. Tiberius   {14 A. D. to 37 A.D.}

5. Caligula   {Gaius 37 to 41 A.D}

6. Claiudius {41 to 54 A.D.}

7. Nero        {54 to 68 A.D}

8. Galba      {68 to 69 A.D.]

9. Otho        {69-------- A.D.}

10. Vitellius  {69-------- A.D.}

11. Vespasian {69 to 79 A.D}

            The eleventh horn is the one, which Daniel said had eyes like the eyes of a man, and before it three of the first horns were pulled up by the roots. Which according to Ancient history happened to Galba, Otho, and Vitellius because they were usurpers of the throne. They as well as any and all kindred were drug out and killed, leaving the vision of Daniel and the war between the Jews to Vespasian. Such history is given by Roman Authorities, and Historians. “Man and his History” The Christian Democracy Series, Doubleday and Company, Garden City New York, 1960, pp-134-149.

International Cyclopaedia of Human Knowledge vol-5, Dodd, Mead and Co, New York 1900 ed. Pp-577-582.

            The important issue here, and at this period in history, was to show historically that the three usurpers, Galba, Otho and Vitellius, seized upon the opportunity knowing that Vespasian was pursuing the war against Israel and Jerusalem under the direct orders of Nero. Knowing also that as a military man he would have been the man that the Senate would have chosen as Emperor. So one by one they moved their armies into Rome and usurped the throne; until the prophecy by God delivered by Daniel was completely fulfilled regarding the three horns that would be uprooted before the 11th, when this was accomplished and the three usurpers caught; they and all their kindred were taken out and killed, there would be no root left to sprout, or stand in the way of God fully using His 11th horn Vespasian. When this was cleared Vespasian left the war to his son, and made his way to Rome, proclamation of Vespasian at Alexandria as Emperor.

            Seeing these events spoken of by Daniel so clearly; and then seeing the Divine intervention by God to make sure that each event will turn out as was spoken by Daniel. How could anyone who has the least respect for God NOT see that this is God’s, plan to close out the Old world, and the Old Covenant of law given to the Jews by God through Moses, and to bring into effect the New Spiritual Covenant spoken of through Jeremiah 31:29-31, which under the laws of the New Covenant Christ would Ratify.

            To begin all over again; allow me time NOT to confuse you but show you signs beginning with King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel chapter 2, the great statue which was composed of four different known materials, each of the four represented an empire which would rule over mankind, and persecute the once chosen people of God. These were SIGN’S for the wise, and righteous that remained. STOP, and Think; if your child suddenly develops a high fever of 104, is this not a sign that something more serious

Than just a fever, is wrong with the child? NOW, compare this with the signs given by God to those who would think responsible. Would you take time to go back to Daniel chapter 2, and read verse 34 “You continued looking until a stone was cut out without hands, and it struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay, and crushed them”. Think now what part of the statue did the stone cut out without hands strike? It names a particular part, the feet of iron and clay. It struck the part, which represented Rome, the fourth and last beast. NOW, to keep thinking on the right channel read Daniel 2:44-45, God is giving a sign that cannot be mistaken. In the days of this fourth beast and its 11th horn God will set up a Kingdom, which will never be destroyed, inasmuch as you saw a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and it destroyed the whole statue. Another sign for the people of that age, even the rulers of Rome stated that if God had not allowed Rome to conquer Jerusalem; they could have never destroyed the city, the city was built against three precipitous walls of the Mount of Olives, no one could get to them by means of these rock walls. Hand made wall on the fourth side with 12 to 15 feet of solid rock, and security towers built in to fortify the city. Signs?

            The result’s is the total collapse of the image. Then was the iron, the clay, and brass, the silver. and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like chaff on the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them.

            What did the Stone represent? The man to whom the Supreme is willing to give rule over His Kingdom, the Stone is Jesus Christ. “My Father covenanted a Kingdom to Me”. Luke 22:29, KJV, 1811.

             At the creation of Israel, Yahweh had created a metaphorical new heaven and earth {Israel} and a metaphorical earth {the nations} in which Israel had been raised above the nations in order to manifest the light of Yahweh’s word and glory {His law}. This Stone of Daniel’s vision, spiritually, religiously becomes a great mountain range filling the whole earth from one end of heaven to the other end, and reaching to the uttermost parts of the western world. Matt. 24:14; Col 1:23 more signs. The mountain range is not the Ecclesia of Christ, the New Jerusalem, and the born from above Israel of Yahweh. Rev. 21:1-6. It is not a new religion. Christianity replaced the Israel of the Mosaic Covenant religion. This New religion, Christianity, fills the whole earth, the terrestrial realm. With the knowledge of the Supreme, the One and only Living God and His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

            c. Listing of the 11 horns as history and Church fathers confirm.

            d. Beast # 1 Babylon. Beast # 2 Medo Persia. Beast # 3 Greece. Beast # 4 Rome with 11 horns.

            Above we have shown from Daniel’s vision in chapter 7:1-8; that his vision of the seven beast arising from the sea {from the land 7:17} we have shown that the four beast represents the same four

Kingdoms as is found in Daniel 2:1- 49. In this vision that King Nebuchadnezzar received and was revealed by Daniel shows that Babylon was the first kingdom used by God to persecute the Jews, after Babylon God had so planned for the Medes and Persia to destroy the Babylonian, which chapter 5 gives evidence of. Therefore, Babylon was the head of Gold on the great statue, and the beast coming up out of the sea Dan. 7:4. Now the second is the Kingdom recognized as the Medes and Persia as the silver arms and breast of the great statue, and the beast of Dan. 7:5, being recognized as being the same. The third Kingdom of the great statue recognized as bronze was Alexander the Great of Greece, and is the beast of Dan. 7:6. NOTICE here that thus far God has prepared three Kingdoms, which will come against each other and ALSO notice that only the Kingdom, which God has decreed will destroy its adversary. Now as we notice the great statue of Dan. 2, the legs and feet of iron and clay represents the Roman Empire, of Dan. 7:7-8; they will come against Alexandra the Great of Greece and conquer it as God has directed, and as we have seen and read in the Scripture. BUT, now we must make a decision, a decision that only encompasses the TRUTH, the Scripture. In making this decision Remember that all the prophecy of the Old Testament was written against the background of Israel, except the book of Jonah.

            And now the Question—Since Rome was the last Kingdom to come against Israel, can you find what Kingdom was to come against Rome to destroy it? In Dan. 7:7-8 is the last Kingdom that Daniel saw who would have world dominion before the END of the old world or {age}. The Old Covenant would become obsolete, being obsolete it was ready to pass away, and disappear, Heb. 8:13, Gen. 49:9-10. When Christ came, He came to ratify the Spiritual Covenant, and destroy Israel and Jerusalem. Zech. 14:1-9, 1 Thess. 3:11-13; 1 Thess. 4:14-17, in verse 16 where Christ comes with a {shout} this word is not found in the earliest Manuscripts, especially the Syriac Manuscripts which is the oldest and the word in the Syriac is {Christ comes with the mandate} Much meaning is lost in translation, in this case we lose the essential meaning of Christ’s coming. A “Shout” means a loud voice. “Mandate” means an authoritative requirement as of a Sovereign command, an Order, a Charge, a charge to nations.

            In Zech. 14:1-5, is Christ and God present during the destruction of Jerusalem? Is both Christ and God present in 1 Thess. 4:14-17? If the Scripture is correct; then in these events is where God gives His Son the “Mandate” of power both in Heaven and earth. 1 Cor. 15:24; Matthew 28:18.

            In Genesis 49:8-10 Jacob {Israel} prophesies to his son Judah that the scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet Until Shiloh comes. Shiloh is Christ. Judah is the tribe that Christ was foretold to come through. Therefore, Judah would remain as a nation with its own government Until Christ came. He came to destroy Judah. Common sense tells us that if Judah no longer exists as a nation, then Christ has also come, and that tells us that all prophecy has long ago been fulfilled, Matt. 5:17. A reminder, the Jews in Jerusalem now does not constitute the nation of Judah; those Jews are Zionist Jews, and does not believe in Christ as the Son of God.

            Thus far in Daniel I have given you Scriptural truth in regards to these visions. We stop here and begin the study of Daniel chapter five, where we will see the fulfillment concerning the nation of Babylon. Belshazzar the King held a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in the presence of thousands. Belshazzar gives orders to bring all the gold utensils that his father Nebuchadnezzar had brought from the temple in Jerusalem in order that he the king, his concubines, his nobles and their wives could drink from them; they became drunk while giving praises to their many god’s, and suddenly {verse 5} the fingers of a man’s hand emerged and began writing opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the King’s palace, and the King saw the back of the hand that did the writing. Then the face of the King grew pale, and his thoughts alarmed him; and his hip joints went slack, and his knees began knocking together. The King called aloud for all his wise men, his conjures, and the diviners, the king offered great awards to any man who could interpret this inscription. The King’s wise men could not read the inscription to make known the interpretation. Verse 10, the Queen mother, Nebuchadnezzar’s Wife came into the King and informed him of a man in the Kingdom in the days of your father, who had great spirit’s of the gods, and your father appointed him Chief of the wise men. Verse 13, then Daniel was brought into the King, the King says to Daniel I have heard of you, that you possess spirits of the god's; But Daniel corrects the King in verses 17-24, and informs him that the Most High God had granted to his father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty, grandeur, glory, and majesty, and because of Nebuchadnezzar’s refusal to obey God’s instructions he was sent away for seven periods of time. And now O King you have exalted yourself against the Lord of Heaven; and they have brought the sacred vessels of His house before you, and you and your nobles, and your wives and your concubines have been drinking wine from them, and you have praised the god’s of silver and gold, of bronze, and wood and stone, which do not see, hear or understand. But the God in whose hand are your life-breath and your ways, you have not glorified. Then the hand was sent from Him, and this inscription was written out.

V---25, now this is the inscription. “MENE”, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN”.

V—26, this is the interpretation of the message. ”MENE” God has numbered your Kingdom, and put an end to it.

V---27, “TEKEL” You have been weighed on the scales and found deficient”.

V—28,  “PERES” Your Kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians”.

             Verse 30, that same night Belshazzar the Chaldean King was slain. So Darius the Median King received the Kingdom at about the age of sixty-two.

            It is Scripturally true that here we have the evidence of a partial fulfillment of God’s plan leading up to the end of the Old world, {age; dispensation}. Heb. 9:26, as Christ died at the end of the world, KJV, ASV, end of the age. We cannot disagree that the first phase of fulfillment has not at this point been

            In one night with the help of the city priest who allowed the water gates to the city be lifted without Belshazzar being informed, the Median army came into the city at night and overcame Babylon the great, and occupied the nation. The water gates was a safety feature on the large Canal of water which ran through the City, the outer walls of the City was heavy with guards and weapons; but the God of Heaven knew where and how to attack, because Medo Persia was God’s instrument in the destruction of Babylon. King Darius was the King of the Medes as was appointed by King Cyrus who was the King of Persia. {See Isa. 44:28. Isa. 45:1-7} God had prepared Cyrus more than 300 years before the birth of Cyrus as His servant, to do His will so long as he remained King. Thus far, we see one Kingdom, namely Babylon falling as God has directed, and by whom God sent.

            In keeping with Chronological order of events recorded in Daniel’s vision, we must understand that visions can be made during one Kingship; but will pertain to another King in a different time period. Such is the case here, we have Daniel receiving a vision in the third year reign of Belshazzar of Babylon; when this vision was received by Daniel it pertained to events which would occur 202 years later, after this event in chapter 8 Babylon would be destroyed within 2 years, thus reigning a total of 76 years after the first carrying away of Judah in 606 B.C.

            The prophecy of chapter eight pertains to Medo Persia, it is foretelling the fall of Persia, and by whom God is sending against them. Now since we have done the study of Babylon; and have seen that Prophecy of Babylon has been fulfilled, and that was done according to God’s purpose and time, we must now study chapter eight to see God’s fulfillment concerning Persia. In order that you do not misunderstand the way in which I am presenting the visions, remember that we studied the first 8 verses of Daniel; and stopped — WHY? Because the eight verses introduce the four beast, Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece and Rome. Now as you look at the rest of chapter 7 it pertains to the events which would occur during the reign of the fourth east and the 11 horns, so that will be the last of the study; for the balance of chapter 7 is connected to chapter 12. Remember the study is conducted in chronological order of events, not necessarily by chapters, if I done that you would not really understand Daniel; and would be Confused.

            Daniel 8:1 in the third year of Belshazzar a vision appeared to me, Daniel, subsequent to the one which appeared to me previously {the one previously was the vision of chapter 7}. This vision came about while Daniel was in Susa, which is in the province of Elam; and was beside the Ulai Canal. Here Daniel sees a huge Ram which had two horns they were long, but one was longer than the other, with the longer up last. The Ram is a vicious animal, long horns, shows he is ready for battle, which is conducive of a Ram; this Ram described the man whom God had prepared to come against Greece when the time window for Persia had expired. At this point it would be about 202 years; but this far out God’s plan to bring about the end of Judah was precisely originated from God’s plan, and nothing, nor anyone could stay His hand.

            This Ram would move fast Eastward, Westward, Northward, and Southward without any one to stop him; this was Persia who had an army of millions of men, thousands of horsemen, and hundreds of Elephants. But, we will see a small nation come against this giant, and break him. Remember verse 4, “and no other beast could stand before him, and he done as he pleased”.

            Chapter 9 under Cyrus king of Persia, Daniel has another vision, Dan. 9:7, so one of the chief angels came to give Daniel understanding of the vision. Verse 13, but the {prince} of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days, {the prince was none other than Satan Eph. 2:2}. Then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the Kings of Persia. Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen TO YOUR PEOPLE IN THE LATTER DAYS, FOR THE VISION PERTAINS TO THE DAYS YET FUTURE. Verse 20, “Behold, the prince of Greece is about to come”. Now notice the statement made in Daniel 11:2, Then a fourth will gain far more riches than all of them; as soon as he becomes strong through his riches, he will arouse the whole empire against the realm of Greece. The balance of chapter 11 informs us of the reign of the Antiochus family and their evil reign especially against Judah; but there is no help from God. All this chapter and its information falls into a time period after the Death of Alexander the Great, when the Empire was divided among the Four field Generals.

            Alexander the great as he was known was the son of Phillip of Macedon, he was born at Pella in 356 B.C. Endowed by nature with a happy genius, and he early announced his great character. His father’s battles and triumphs saddened him, and he said, “My father will leave me nothing to do”. His education was first committed to the great Leonidas, and then to Lysimachus who later would become one of his field Generals, then he was committed to Aristotle to learn the art of government, Aristotle taught him military ardor. At the age of 16 his father left in his hands the government while the father marched in battle against Byzantium, two years later Alexander marched against the Chaeronea and overthrew the Thebans in 338 B.C. At the age of 18, and upon the return of his father, Phillip said “Seek for thyself another Kingdom, for that which I have is too small for you”. The International Cyclopaedia-Vol.1, 1900 Ed Page 253.

            The above has been recorded that you might see God’s hand working in the life of Alexander His chosen one, and Servant. You will recognize when you see God working with His plan, and by that you will better understand God working against His once chosen people Judah to destroy them. I have been asked why God did not choose to destroy Judah when King Nebuchadnezzar had them in captivity. God could not destroy them then Because Christ {the Shiloh of Gen. 49:10} would come through Judah

And nothing, nor anyone could stay God’s hand, this must be fulfilled, Matt. 5:17, from the death of Christ there was in God’s plan a 40 year transition period allowing the Jews to accept Christ. This period is fore-shadowed by the 40 years in the wilderness.

            Another often asked question. Why was the Old Testament prophecy written against the background of the Jews? ---- God chose the descendants of Abraham who were in captivity in Egypt to become His chosen people, because of the life of Abraham, and the promises made to Abraham. God would bring this people out of captivity and give them a land mass sufficient to care for the twelve tribes of Jacob {Israel}. God never gave the Gentiles {heathen]. The Gentile world practiced heathen- ism which

God did not recognize. It was promised throughout prophecy that God would bring them in, but only after the destruction of Judah and the Covenant of Law.

            But, that does not fit the Scriptures, for Peter preached to the Gentiles and saved them through Baptism ---That is correct; but you also notice that the Gentiles were grafted into the stump of the Olive tree. Romans chapter 11, now look at Col. 1:12-13, “For He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son”. Since Christ had not returned with His Kingdom Matt. 16:27-28, Christ had not come to bring His Kingdom at this time; but those who chose to obey Christ, Jew, or Gentile were made CHARTER MEMBERS OF THE LORD’S KINGDOM.

            Daniel says that while he was observing the vision, behold a male goat was coming from the west over the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground; and the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes. This male goat was Alexander the great. Alexander assumes the Persian Empire in 330 B.C. Then makes an expedition into India. Verse 8 informs that the male goat magnified himself exceedingly; but the large horn was broken. At this point we can know that history recalls Alexander falling off his horse and injured his ribs and lungs, and died shortly afterwards.

            Verse 8 brings forth the information in regards to the four horns who come up. “And in its place there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven”. Alexander had Four field Generals that made up his small army of Greeks after the death of Alexander his Empire was divided equally among his four field Generals.

1. Cassander, his empire consisted of Macadonia.

2. Lysimachus, his empire consisted of Israel, Thrace, and Asia.

3. Sefercius, his empire consisted of all of Syria.

4. Ptolemy Soter, his empire consisted of Egypt, Lybia.

            Notice verse 9, and out of one of the horns came forth a rather small horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Beautiful land {Israel}. And it grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down!

            Think for a moment, very seriously, what is really being said here? Could it be that this little horn that came up out from one of the Four, came up out of Lasimachus, since he took the Empire of Israel, Thrace, and Asia. This little horn was turned against Judah {Israel} and compounded their land, made war with them, persecuted them, took away their sacrifices, destroyed their power to govern their nation. Took away their leaders, destroyed their sacred Scroll by fire. Judah’s persecution continues throughout all these Four Empires as God has allowed. The statement in verse 10, he caused some of the host of heaven and some of the stars to fall to the earth. Simply put, he caused some of the Priest, some of the Stars to fall to heaven. The host of Heaven represented the priesthood, and rulers; the stars falling represented the general makeup of the nation. Please compare {Isaiah 13:1-19, and Genesis 37:3-10.} Now compare the Metaphoric language of God, and it will help you to better understand the Book of Daniel, well as the whole Bible. There is a Spiritual Metaphoric language that God uses to conceal the real meaning of events until they are revealed and fulfilled in the New Testament.

            To further offer evidence of the above please look in the New Testament to compare this evidence of events, which took place according to God’s plan from Babylon to Rome, and its destruction. When you read statements such as I will show you, then you can see the fulfillment. The meaning of the word “Mystery” is a Metaphoric word. When this word is revealed with its contents you can understand

Why God uses such words to conceal the real meaning until He is ready for it to be fulfilled, then it is REVEALED, as follows. Heb. 4:3; Matt. 13:10-11; Rom. 11:25-27; Rom. 16:25; 1 Cor .2:5-9; Eph. 1:4-9; Eph. 3:4-6; Eph. 5:32; Col. 1:24-29; Eph. 3:9; Eph. 6:19; Col. 2:2; Col. 4:3; 1 Cor. 4:1; And most important Rev. 10:7.

            Now to notice other events which will occur during the period of the separated Kingdoms. Notice in the vision of verses 13-22, Daniel is disturbed in regards to the regular sacrifice while transgressions continue, and to the host being trampled. Daniel wanted to know how long this would last, and the angel said to me 2,300 evenings and mornings, then the holy place will be restored, Six and one half years. Verse 19, Behold I am going to let you know what will occur at the final period of the indignation, for it pertains to the appointed time of the end, also verse 17, But he said to me, Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end, but the end of what? Who was this vision all about? The Jews. So the end of the Jews means the end of the Old world, and the end of Judaism. But notice Verses 20-26, the Jews will be persecuted torn down, killed, famine, burned out, until the time of the Roman Empire. TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE JEWS DURING THIS PERIOD PLEASE OBTAIN THE APOCRYPHA OF THE OLD TESTAMENTREAD THE MACCABEES Page 141fff. And one of the first things Rome will do was to bring Judah under the control of Rome. So General Pompey invaded the land of Judah, and brought them under his control, however, Pompey granted certain rights and privilege to Judah, he had heard much about this people and their problems, he therefore, showed them compassion; but the people resented being under control of Rome, and on several occasions was involved in uprising.

             Since these Scriptures {Hebrew, Greek, and Syriac} are primarily concerned with the fulfillment of the law and the prophets, and since Jesus declared that He came to fulfill the law and the prophets, it should not surprise the reader of the Greek, Hebrew, or Syriac to find that these Scriptures were written to the last generation of God’s Chosen Elect people; which would be the end of the Old World. All the New Testament books confirm this one fact, if we read into the Scriptures and as a blind man and recognizing What God is saying to us INSTEAD of reading into the Scripture what we want it to say, we will understand that Daniel is foretelling what would befall the Jews. Not Gentiles. The {Greek, Hebrew, and Syriac} Scriptures were primarily concerned with instruction and encouragement for these people as they shared in suffering of the Christ {the Messiah} which sufferings would culminate in the fulfillment of the law and prophets during that very generation, even as Jesus had declared to His Apostles. Matt. 24:14-34; Luke 21:20-32; Rom. 8:18-21: Matt. 5:17.

            Thus, the writer of the book of Revelation is writing in accord with the qualified mind promised to Israel if she would obey the voice of Yahweh; obey His statutes and judgments with all her heart, all her soul, and all her intensity. The writer of Revelation being in agreement with Daniel, and Paul, Paul knew he was writing at the END of the Mosaic Eon and at the end of the long night of the ancient world. Paul testifies, “ now is our salvation nearer than when we believed”. The night progresses, yet the day is “NEAR”. Rom. 13:11-12.

            Daniel 7:9, “ I kept looking Until thrones were set up”, notice NOW we are studying during the reign of the 11th horn Vespasian, “Judgment” “Thrones”, Plural thrones, not just one for the ancient of days; but thrones 12 in fact. This is where Jesus said that the Apostles would Judge Israel, Judah. Read Matt. 19:28. Now where do we go to confirm this? Rev. 20:4,”And I saw thrones, and {They} sat upon {Them}, and judgment was given to {Them}. And I saw the souls of {those} who {Had} been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, and {Those who had not} worshipped the {Beast} or his image, and {had not} received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and {They} came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. A thousand years is as one day, 2 Pet. 3:8.

            Now we have established by scriptural means that the plural thrones belonged to the Apostles; they were in judgment against Israel. The Verdict was that Israel was guilty. Now we will see Satan released from his prison to roam the earth and turn nation against nation, soon the war between Rome and Israel will begin. The war was declared by Nero the Emperor of Rome Feb. 10, 67 A.D. Satan is now officially freed and charged to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth to gather them together for the war, Rev. 20:7-8.

Rev. 20:9, and they {the armies of Rome} came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the {Beloved City}, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. The wrath of God came down}.

            Rev. 20:10, “And the Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of Fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophets are also; and {They} will be tormented day and night forever and ever”. {NOW} John sees a great white Throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. The heaven and earth that fled away is used here, as it is in Isaiah chapter 13:1-19, as passing away of the people of a designated land area. In the case with Isa. 13:1-19, it was the Empire of Babylon, the Government, the people. Under the same decree here the heaven and earth that passed away was the Kingdom of Israel, and its people who refused Christ, “THEM” “PASSED AWAY", no more; instead New Jerusalem, the New heaven and earth a new Heavenly government {Matt. 28:18}. When the White Throne is set up, then human destiny is forever settled. It is the {End} of Judah, and the old Covenant of law Heb. 8:13.

            This is the last universal judgment, Rev. 20:11-14, Daniel is looking at one more great universal-embracing event that must take place before there can be eternal peace and righteousness, namely the impending judgment of the impenitent dead. This is set forth in this last paragraph, a {Day of Judgment}, the {Last day}. This judgment of the last day, the end of the old World, is spoken more often by our Lord than by all His Apostles and their writings. {Please read}. Matt. 10:15; Matt. 11:22-24; 12:36: John. 5:28,29; John 6:39-54; 11:24; Heb. 9:27; 10:27. Christ is everywhere identified as the Judge. Acts 17:31; John 5:22-27; 2 Tim. 4:1. {Statement of belief} It seems to me that any believer in the God of the prophets, and of our Lord, must also believe with the Prophets in a day of the Lord, In the last day of the Old world as bringing the present age of human history to its climax. Acts 2:16-20; Matt. 24:1-34; Luke 21:20-32; James 5:7-9; 1 Pet. 1:3-5. Read these passages as the Holy Spirit gave utterances to these writers. The generation of these writers has passed some 1900 years; how can mankind read these scriptures and say that when Jesus said in Matt. 24:34, that all these things must take place before this generation passes; His generation; not ours 1900 years later. How can man read into God’s word what he wants it to say, and expect God to save?

            We have clearly seen from Rev. 20:4-10 the actual fulfillment of Daniel 7:9-10, both books is in keeping with the fourth beast, and the Eleventh horn, as well as the period date; between 69 A.D. and 70 A.D. The Eleventh horn Vespasian, came to power as Emperor in 69 A.D. and reigned till 70 A.D. The court sat verse 10-15, all has been fulfilled, or, The Scripture is incorrect! Or, man has read into the Scriptures what he wants it to say, and has taught others! You be the judge.

            But I wish to pass on to you even more evidence of Fulfillment at the appointed time. The Throne scene is fully established in Revelation chapters 4-20. Evidently Daniel covers the same ground Dan. Ch, 7-12 as do John in Revelation chapters 1-20, it is a judgment scene by the ancient of days.

            Daniel 7:13-14, one like the Son of man was coming, He came up to the Ancient of days. To Him was given dominion Glory and a Kingdom, all nations might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which will not pass away. And His Kingdom is one, which will not be destroyed.

            Fulfillment. Luke 19:12-27, Christ goes away to receive a Kingdom, and return during the lifetime of the ten slaves, each is called to Him to give a report of interest drawn on His money, the latter verses contains the judgment which we have shown from Dan. 7:1-15, one and the same judgment, we are coming closer to the very day. Remember what Jesus said to His disciples in Matt. 16:28, “Some of you shall not taste of death until you see me coming in My Kingdom. THINK; truly think, if Christ has not come back at the time He informed His disciples; then we have men living today at more than 1900 years of age! Is there any of His disciples either from Matt. 16:28, or from Luke 19:12-27?? Or did He keep His word in Matt. 24:34, and Luke 21:20-32? In His generation?

            Dan. 7:15-16, Daniel is disturbed regarding the visions, and in his vision he approached one of those standing by, and asked for an exact interpretation of these things, the word “these things” denotes the things of his last vision, Verse 17, the angel gives Daniel the interpretation for the four beast, as four kings which would arise from the land, namely Babylon; Medo Persia; Greece; Rome. But the angel said the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, for all ages to come. Verse 18. This just does not sound like that Christ is coming back and destroy the earth, why? First it takes people to constitute a kingdom, any kingdom, if the earth is destroyed then the people is destroyed, as well as the kingdom. Compare the destruction of earth and the kingdom with this Genesis 8:20-22; Eccl. 1:4: Ps. 78:69; Ps. 93:1; Ps. 104:5; Ps. 119:90; Ps. 148:1-6; Dan. 2:44-45.

            Verse 19, Daniel desires to know the exact meaning of the fourth beast, V-20, and the meaning of the ten horns on its head, and the other horn which came up which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boast, and which was larger in appearance than its associates. Indication is that the angel told Daniel to continue looking and he would find his answer. So verse 21 Daniel says, I kept looking and that horn, {Vespasian} was waging war with the saints and overpowering them. Keep in mind now in verses 13, and 14, Christ comes up to the Ancient of days to receive the Mandate of power and dominion. He receives it. This changes the status of Christ, from the Son of God to the Ancient of days, because He has the Mandate of power, and dominion. To confirm this look again at verse 18, the “Highest One”. Then in verse 22 the 11th horn was waging war against the Remnant and overpowering them—Until the ancient of days came the second coming of Christ. {Came past tense} and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the {Highest One} verse 18, {Christ who is now the Ancient of days}. And the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. What kingdom? The Kingdom of God? Or the kingdom of Christ V-13, 14? {See Acts 20:28} Christ purchased the Church kingdom of God.

            Thus he said {the angel said} the fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms {Babylon, Medo Persia, Greece}. And it will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it the Roman Empire. Verse 24, “As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten Kings will arise; and another will arise after them {Vespasian}, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings {Galba June 68-Jan. 69} Otho Jan. To April 69. {Vitellius April 69-Dec.69} Vespasian 69 — 79 A. D. as Emperor of Rome. The same General Vespasian was assigned the war upon the Jews by Emperor Nero in Feb. 10, 67 A.D. In Dec. 69 A.D. The Roman Senate called this same Vespasian to Rome as Emperor.

            Verse 25, the details of the actions of the 11th horn is made clear, and recorded ancient history confirms these actions as being in this period of time. The Time, times, and half time is to be understood as starting when the war begin, and the date of the end, three and one half years. See Dan. 9:24-27, a period corresponding with verse 25, precisely showing the complete End of the old world, at the end of this war, reference Zech. 13:1-3; Zech. 14:1-9. Zechariah sees the end of the Old World by the destruction of Jerusalem, and the coming of Christ as He stood on the Mount of Olives, and caused the Mountain to split so as to allow the Remnant to escape, see Micah. 2:12-13, Joel 2:28-32; Zephaniah 1:1-18.

            Verse 26, “But the court will sit for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever”. Who are we talking about here?? Well let’s find the only EVIDENCE that will Scripturally answer this question. John 12: 31; John 16:11; 1 John 3:8; Heb. 2:14; Rom.16: 20; Rev. 20:10. Rev. chapter 20 gives full details of verse 26 as being Satan.

            Verse 27, simply put goes over verses 13, and 14 in regards to the Kingdom of Christ being brought to the saints at the time of the end of this war. It will never be destroyed; neither will the earth which constitutes Christ’s Kingdom, ever be destroyed.

            This document is not intended as a commentary of Daniel; rather a listing of EVIDENCE, which clearly shows that all this prophecy came to an end, and was FULFILLED during the period of the Fourth beast and the Eleven horns. I have offered simple EVIDENCE to support that fact. I have won. Before I even finish the last page, someone has asked how have you won? Well! I have won because I have given you Scriptural truth. You make the decision whether you want to believe the truth; or believe the dooms day preacher, that has no idea what the plan of God is, he knows what he wants to do. {Read into the scripture what he wants it to say!}. I have read scripture, and have let it speak, I have won.

            There is one thing that we did not cover, or discuss in Daniel the “THE RESURRECTION”. Well let’s go to Daniel chapter 12. Chapter 12 begins with the Angel Michael informing Daniel that he stood over the nation of Israel, and stood guard over the sons of his people {Jews}. Then he informs him of the severe distress coming upon his nation, a distress such as had never before happened since it was a nation {namely the destruction of Jerusalem}. And at that end when the distress is over the books will be opened, and everyone whose name is found in the book, will be rescued. Verse 2, And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt. So we have a resurrection at the end of the war, or sharply thereafter. We cannot deny this, except just to say I don’t believe this. Remember, these visions were given by the Holy Spirit of God. So what am I committing when I say I don’t believe this? Blasphemy! Matt. 12:32. Now Daniel hears one of the angels ask another one of the angels, “How long will it be until the end of all these wonders?” V-6. Verse 7, an angel answers and says this distress would be for a time, times, and a half time; and then adds “as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these things will be completed”. Fulfilled, Go your way Daniel seal up the book until the end time, as the end time grew near for the Apostles, John was sent to the Island of Patmos, unpopulated except for the most poison snakes in the world. Here the book of Daniel was reviewed and John wrote the Revelation to the same people that Daniel wrote to Jews only. Johns book was about a war that was soon to begin, he did not write and send his book to the Gentiles; they were not the ones to be destroyed, rather the Jews. Notice Rev. 1:11, “Saying, write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches; Ephesus; Smyrna; and to Pergamum; Thyatira; to Sardis; to Philadelphia; Laodicea.

            These were the Churches that was established as Aliens from Jerusalem during the great persecution of 50 A. D. when thousands had to flee for their life, the Gentiles accepted these Christian Jews into their country.

            These are also the people that Peter wrote his 2 letters to; 1 Pet. 1:1-2, “Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, TO those who reside as aliens, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, who are chosen”. 2 Pet. 3:1, “This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder.”

            Now, who did Peter write his letters TO? People today read into the Scripture what they want it to say. But what do you say who did Peter write 2 Peter 3:1TO? The Gentiles were not on the menu to be destroyed. I sincerely pray that this document will help you as a reader to understand PROPHECY.

            One last statement: If you recall on page 9, par 3, I asked what kingdom would come against the fourth beast to destroy it, and its power? If you have not found the answer go back to Dan. 2:34-35, the stone that were cut out of the mountain without hands {spiritual} that became the kingdom of Christ the Church of Christ, Dan. 2:44-45; this is the kingdom Church that would destroy the Roman Empire. There was only one stone, only one kingdom. Can you find another? This is what the Holy Spirit of God says.

            The Churches of Christ salute you Rom. 16:16.
