Analysis of Matthew 24

By Jessie E. Mills, Jr. – December 2012

ANALYSIS OF MATTHEW CHAPTER 24 AND ANALYSIS OF DEUT. 28:1-66. GEN. 6:8, THE BEGINNING OF ISRAEL, AND A NEW WORLD, A DEFINITE CALENDAR BY DANIEL, 2:1-48; DANIEL, 7:1-27, AS TO A DEFINITE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL BY THE FOURTH WORLD EMPIRE ROME AND THE ELEVENTH HORN.

INTRODUCTION: To present yet another significant documentation of- Matthew chapter 24:1-34, as Text belonging to the nation of Israel. To use the rule of Analogy, reasoning in which from certain observed and known relations or parallel resemblance’s, in others which are inferred, such as- Deuteronomy Chapter 28:1-66, known as the chosen people from the 12 sons of Jacob, the grandson of Abraham.

PURPOSE: Perhaps to open up a different; but Scriptural investigation of- Matthew chapter 24:1-34, to see the Old Testament Types and Patterns as God’s pre-planned activity both good and bad for His chosen people. Further, to offer an explicit explanation for- Deut. 28:1-68, and will use the explanation as the process of settling a long term disagreement as to whom Matthew was written to, and to whom would be the recipient of both good and bad spoken of in- Matthew 24:1-34. The beginning and the end of physical Israel.

To fulfill the PURPOSE above, we must examine the root use of Scripture which leads up to- Deut. 28:1-66, which reaches back in history to- Genesis 8:15-22, here God begins to raise up a people He could depend upon as His Chosen ones; who would remain faithful unto Him. This was a new world, the Old Age had been destroyed by water, so a New Age begins, and the earth has been cleansed. Verse 21, God declares to Himself, a Covenant that He cannot break, “and the Lord said to Himself, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy ever living thing as I have done”. (Reference: Psalms 78:69; Ps. 93:1; 104:5; Ps. 119:90; Eccl. 1:4; Dan. 2:44; Ps. 148:1-8. - Here we see a New beginning for mankind, and the earth. A New age; the patriarchal age, an age governed by the head of a family; the Chief of a tribe who rules by paternal right: particularly to the progenitors of the beginning of the Hebrews, --- Genesis Chapters 8-49, the beginning of the patriarch Abraham, - Genesis 14:13, Then a fugitive came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now he was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eschol and brother of Aner, and these were allies with Abram. (Notice the Word Hebrew, the first mention of the word Hebrew. Hebrew is Jewish, - (Gen. 14:13) and the beginning of the Hebrew nation of Israel. --- As we look for connections we see the Books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, written to and about the History of the Hebrew people, and the twelve Tribes of Israel. These books picks up with the history of the Hebrews from Abram the patriarch - Gen. 49:1-33, until AD 70, when God brought the nation of Rome against Israel to destroy the 12 tribes.

In all the history from Genesis chapter 8 through all the books of Moses, Judges, First and Second Samuel, First and Second Kings, Ezra, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and the Song of Songs. Prophets from Isaiah to the closing of Malachi gives no recognition to any Pagan nation as a recipient of judgments made against the nation of Israel by the God of Israel. God indeed judged Pagan nations, - Isaiah, 13:1-19, Babylon was destroyed and was the first of four world Empire to be destroyed, this leaves three more, Persia, Greece and Rome, Rome would be forsaken by God when they - Rome completed God’s works, destruction of Israel. Pagan subjects would under the New Spiritual law be judged according to - Romans, 1:18-32, as to their judgments. When we come to the book of Matthew, Authored by the Holy Spirit; we find no evidence, no decree mentioned that the Gentile world would be recipients of God’s judgments recorded in Matthew chapter 24. The modern day teaching that Matt. 24 teaches a future judgment, a future Resurrection, a future coming of the Lord for the Gentiles world!

In the defense of the Scriptures I ask the reader to look at the following events. - Jeremiah 25:1-12; Ezekiel, Chapters 6 and 7. Who is going into captivity? Where does the victim’s go? Did God also speak to the Gentile, and Pagan nations concerning their judgment? Did God have a Covenant with the Gentile nations? Only the Hebrew’s (Jews) were included in Judgment. In Matthew chapter 24, the message is to the Jewish nation only. Look at- Ezekiel Chapter 9:3; 10:4; 10:18; 11:23, God leaves earth and goes back to Heaven. He Divorces Israel His chosen people, - Jeremiah 3: 1-14, first he divorces the 10 northern tribes of Israel. After that God leaves His throne in Jerusalem. Now He has Judah to forsake Him, verse 14 God declares that He is married to Judah; but now God leaves Judah, - Ezekiel, 9:3; 10:4; 10:18; 11:23, God leaves His people. He forsakes Judah. But God does not Divorce Judah. There is a good reason. First, The Messiah was in God’s plan from the beginning, and that plan would reveal that Christ the Son of God would be born through the tribe of Judah, the remaining son of Jacob. Put the Scriptures to test, Study Isaiah Chapter 52, and 53, Compare that with- Isaiah 9:6-7. We cannot forget- Isaiah 25:1-3, “It will never be rebuilt”, that is a message given by God to His servant Isaiah, Isaiah is to teach this to Judah. Not to the Gentile nations, this message corroborates with all the evidence contained in this document.

Now back to evidence from - Deuteronomy 18:18-22, “I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My Words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. And it shall come about that whosoever will not listen to My words which He shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of Him. But the prophet who shall speak a word presumptuously in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or which he shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die! And you may say in your heart how shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall be afraid of him”. (THAT PROPHET SHALL DIE, V-20). Reference to – Matthew – CH 24; Zechariah 13:1-9; - Zechariah 14:1-9

DEFINITION OF THE WORD PROPHET: “One who delivers Divine messages or interprets the Divine Will”. “One whose discourse is delivered by a Prophet under Divine inspiration is the common Biblical sense”. Britannica World Language Vol. 2. Know this first of, that the modern day preacher or teacher who studies to make himself approved by God, will be led by the Holy Spirit, through the grace of God, and will endeavor, and STRIVE to do God’s will without using his own interpretation of Scripture which results in Ambiguous messages. But will be led by Grace to teach the Scripture as they are. - Revelation 22:18-19; - Deut.4:2.

I vehemently with bold opposition oppose the traditional teaching of Matthew chapter 24 as being the disclosure of events directed toward the Gentile world, and future and final End times with the Gentiles in mind!

Opposition 1. I fail to find Biblical Authority from God for preachers and teachers to interpret and expedite His Word in regards to His Holy Prophets. (See 2 Peter 1:20-21; Acts 2:4; Eph. 6:19)

Opposition 2. I am cognizance of the range of denominational institutions and their perception of truth without conscious attention to the fact that earthly man does not have authority to interpret the written word of God, therefore; they become false prophets - 2 Peter 2:20-21, And Deuteronomy 18:20; Zechariah, 13:1-3.“That prophet shall die”! (Also see 2 Timothy 3:16).

Opposition 3. I oppose the exploitation and the selfish employment of preachers teachers, and Elders who by their own authority exploit and interpret God’s Word for ones own use or advantage, rather than to study to become approved by God, - 2 Timothy 2:15.

Opposition 4. I oppose those preachers and teachers who are blind in one eye and cannot see out of the other. By their messages, I make a Postulation based upon their own works. They preach and teach a future Resurrection and judgment from- Daniel chapter 12:1-3, and yet Daniel makes it very clear as to when this resurrection he speaks of would be,-Dan. 1:1,”Now at that time”. What time? Dan. 12: 5-13,” When they (Rome) finish shattering the power of the holy people, (70 A.D). - Dan. 7:25-27. All these visions pertained to Daniel’s people the Jews. - Matthew chapter 24. Do they not become the exploiter by turning to their own use of Scripture? The advantage they take by illegitimately trying to interpret the Scriptures without Divine authority and sanction? You the reader decide.

I have no disguised meaning or reservation concerning God’s revealed and written Word, His Word which is explicit is unfolded, so that nothing is obscure, doubtful, or ambiguous, that which is expressed is uttered or stated so decidedly that it may not be forgotten and become a disguised event. Therefore, teachers, preachers, and I myself must keep in our mind that if we exploit a deed or act, especially one marked by Scripture, and put such event to advantageous use, to take advantage of other people and to utilize in selfish schemes, we have Blasphemed the Holy Spirit, - Matthew 12:30.

I therefore, expeditiously seek to accomplish this dispatch with speed and accuracy in the following pages.

CHILDREN OF ISRAEL GIVEN MORAL LAWS TO KEEP THROUGHOUT THEIR GENERATIONS, LAWS WHICH WERE INCORPRATED INTO NEW TESTAMENT MORAL LAWS. -Deut.27:1-26.

Deut. 27:26, “CURSED IS HE WHO DOES NOT CONFIRM THE WORDS OF THIS LAW BY DOING THEM.

Deut. 28:1-66. - First notice God’s promise to the newly formed 12 tribes of Israel. The Gentile Nations is nowhere mentioned. Here in this Chapter you are going to see Matthew chapter 24 openly and discreetly revealed, and is done so in clarity that which is explicit is clearly made known, so that these events may not be obscure, doubtful, or ambiguous. So watch as Israel, Judah, and Jerusalem is revealed in the last days. The last days of Israel, Judah and Jerusalem in AD 70.- Deut. 28:1-2, “ Now it shall be, if you will diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, IF YOU WILL OBEY THE LORD YOUR GOD”. - Deut. 28:1-14, is valid today. You read verses 3 through 14.

(Please follow the Scripture by reading, - Deut. 28:15. - “BUT it shall come about, if you will not obey the Lord your God, to observe to do all His statutes which I charge you today, that all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you”). NOTICE carefully - Deut. 28:3-14. God promises this people, the descendants of Jacob the father of the 12 tribes, known as the Jews all the blessings contained in these verses. But, to physically and spiritually enjoy these blessings they must do what? To answer this you must go back to, - Deut. 27:1-26, these laws contained in chapter 27 is the laws which will bless them, or Destroy them. These rules and regulations are valid today under the Spiritual Covenant of Christ.

God pleads with this people. God will prosper you. - Deut. 30:17-20, “But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them. I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You shall not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it. I call Heaven and Earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you LIFE and DEATH, the blessing and the curse. So choose Life in order that you may LIVE, you and your descendants. By loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give them Life”. This is the people that God brought to Egypt where Egypt enslaved the people for 430 years, God calls Moses to go down to Egypt and bring the people out. 430 years the people was being prepared to receive the land promised by God, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and their descendants. Exodus chapters One through Fourteen.

Since these Laws were moral and gave the people a clear choice to accept, or, reject. God pleads with them to accept life. The same moral laws, and in the same ways are incorporated into the New Testament laws contained in the Spiritual Covenant spoken of in - Jeremiah 31:30-36. In that sense they are homogenous. In that way today we are called by God. The calling of Assemblies - Isa. 1:13. Gifts and the calling of God, - Romans 11:14-22, God calls us with the same heavenly calling, - 2 Timothy 1:9-10, We are therefore partakers of a heavenly calling as is revealed in Romans chapter 11, and - Ephesians 2:8-22.

I suggest that I make known to the reader that the above paragraph resulted in resemblance to our subject material, namely to Analyze and make known the meaning of certain Scriptures used by God to call His people to Him. This method of calling is based upon God’s foreknowledge of the Jewish nation, and later of the Pagan nations of the World. Therefore, I will use Analogy throughout this Dispatch, keeping in mind that Analogy is specifically a resemblance of relations; a resemblance that may be reasoned from, so that from the likeness in certain respects we may infer that other and perhaps deeper relations exist

As Analogy has suggested, we must begin to ask questions in regards to- Deut. 30:19. “I call heaven and earth to witness against you TODAY, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants”.-Unto what nation did God speak? - Was He truly speaking to the people who had went down into Egypt during the famine in the Promised Land?-Was this people the descendants of Hebrew man called Abraham?-If so, all these promises was made to the nation of Israel.

Then we must ask another question. (Redundancy) Who did Peter in the New Testament write his first Epistle to? - Was it written to the Jewish Church scattered over Asia, 1 Pet. 1:1-2? Who did Peter write his second Epistle to? - 2 Pet. 3:1-7. Rev. 1:11. - Was this not who James wrote his Epistle to? - James 1:1-4; -5:1-9. - Who was Titus written to? - Titus 1:1-2 - Who did John, write his 3 Epistles to? - Was it to the seven Jewish Churches in Asia?

Did God have foreknowledge that Israel would forsake Him, and turn to the Pagan gods? --Yes, turn to Deut. 31:16-18, “And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the harlot with the strange gods of the land, into the midst of which they are going, and will forsake Me and break My Covenant which I have made with them. Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide my face from them, and they shall be consumed, and many evils and troubles shall come upon them; so that they will say in that day, is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have come upon us? But I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they will do, for they will turn to other gods”. Remember, Deut. 31:17, God will forsake this people, the Hebrews --- (Jews) The Gentiles is not mentioned, therefore, all these books giving the history of Israel were written exclusively to the Jewish world.

“In that day I will forsake them and hide my face from them”. -Follow me to- Ezekiel Chapter 9:3, - “Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub on which it had been, to the threshold of the Temple, and He called to the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case”. - Go to Ezek. 10:4, “Then the glory of the Lord went up from the Cherub to the threshold of the Temple, and the Temple was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord”. - (Notice carefully, each Scripture gives God moving farther and farther away from the Temple, and the people. - Ezek. 10:18-19, - “Then the Glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the Temple and stood over the cherubim. When the Cherubim departed, they lifted their wings and rose up from the earth in my sight with the wheels beside them; and they stood still at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house. And the glory of the God of Israel hovered over them”. - I call your attention to the 19th verse. “And the glory of the God of Israel”. At this time in the history of the Bible, Israel was the only people who had the right to worship God in Judaism. All the other nations in the whole world were Pagan, and it was Paganism that each time Israel fell from the Grace of God; they went into paganism. --- Now turn to - Ezek. 11:23, --- “And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood over the mountain which is east of the city”. God is gone!

Before God left the city of Jerusalem, and the Temple, He left provisions for the children of Israel, the Hebrew Jews, God said, Ezekiel chapters 6 and 7. - “NOW, the end is upon you, your doom has come to you”. God speaks to Jeremiah in chapter 25:1-38, - it is necessary to read and understand all these verses wherein God speaks first to Israel, then to all nations because they were an influence upon Israel and led them to sin.

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon arrived first in 606 BC, and carried away the Elite of Israel, leaving behind a large portion of Israel, those left continued in sin, so Nebuchadnezzar was sent back in 596 BC. and carried away the middle class of Israel. The poor class did not change and turn back to God. God sent Nebuchadnezzar back to Israel in 586 BC. His orders Kill and destroy the land, destroy the city, the Temple, use the people as slaves. - See Jeremiah 25:1-14. - To understand what God has done, you have a pressing need to fully study the books of Jeremiah and that of Ezekiel this will give you proof of the creditability of - Deuteronomy chapters 28, 29, 30, and 31. One important thing to notice in Jeremiah and Ezekiel, all their prophecy was directed to the Hebrew nation of people. Many times the Pagan nations are mentioned in these books of prophecy; but, only as an evil party, an influence to the people of Israel. But the catastrophic events was always directed to the 12 Tribes of Israel. Such is the evidence of Matthew chapter 24. The disaster, misfortune is always associated with great acts of convulsions or momentous events, all of which is directed by God toward a continual act of sin with in such nation.

Please go back to page 2, and read carefully this page, we began there with Deut. 28:15,-We began there to show from - Deut. 28:15, through Deut. 28:48, - Deut. 28:15, - was to introduce you to the great catastrophic events that were to be brought upon Judah in 606, - 596, - 586 BC. Where God sends the King of Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar who would inflict upon Israel the prescribed judgment that God had recommended. In - Deut. 28:16-48, God describes the punishment that will befall Israel in these years, now Israel can do nothing that will cause God to recall this catastrophic event. According to Ezekiel the Prophet God has left Jerusalem, and has turned His face against Israel. Ezekiel 9:3; 10:4; 10:18; 11:23.

Read the account of this destruction which God has promised from Jeremiah 25:1-12, and if you find where God has relegated the form of Judaism to a Pagan nation. Please challenge me. God instituted Judaism for His own people which He chose, a religion with a binding belief of Spiritual nature involving a feeling of responsibility and dependence together with the practices which naturally flows from many, many laws which results in sacrifice. I will here not use the rules of resemblance to further this form of Judaism.

YOU, have read - Deut. 18:14-20, now ask your self, have I read in these passages where God allowed the Jews to practice Paganism. No, you have read God’s plan to punish the Jews for seventy years, - Daniel 9:1-2, confirms the seventy years, but now its time for the Jews to be released from captivity, allowing them who are faithful to rebuild the City of Jerusalem and the Temple. Read the books of Ezra, and Nehemiah for full details of the rebuilding of Jerusalem.

Do not miss the great revelation that God has planned for the 12 tribes of Israel. We have already seen where God has sent up to Babylon, and has brought down the King Nebuchadnezzar. This was the beginning of 4 world Empires. Israel would be destroyed by the first King of the world Empire, Babylon. For further Scriptural evidence please look at -Daniel chapter 2:1-49, - Here you have King Nebuchadnezzar receiving a dream in the night of which he was sorely disturbed, Daniel one of the Hebrew boys whom the King chose to work in his palace was consulted to inform the King as to the meaning of this dream. “Interpret it or die”. Daniel and his friends sought God in prayer for help. God revealed to Daniel the exact meaning of the great statue which the King dreamed, Daniel begins to reveal the “Mystery” to the King, - Daniel 2:25-49, please pay close attention to - Dan. 2:31-35. The statue contained 4 different materials which represented the 4 world Empires which Babylon was the head of Gold, and the first of the 4 Empires. Nebuchadnezzar dies after his conversion to God, - Daniel, 4:34-37; his son receives the kingdom, Evil Mardak, then, Loborscad, then his son in law Nabinitis, and finally Belshazzar. Belshazzar was the last to reign in Babylon, - Dan. 6:29-30. The Medes and Persian Empire declared war on Babylon and the war was won in one night, and Darius the Mede took the Kingship - Dan. 5:31. When Persia had used the Median Empire for God’s purpose they blended into the Persian Empire. Persia had the world’s largest army, six million foot men. Persia was the second world power that God would allow to rule the world. Meanwhile the Jews who had been released from Babylonian captivity were restoring the city of Jerusalem, and the Temple, back in the land of Judah Ezra chapters two through seven.

Notice now -Daniel, 7:1-8, again we see the importance of the Kings of 4 World Empires, this is another vision Daniel saw as he received it from God, here God reveals to Daniel 4 great beast which represents 4 world Empires, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. (See Dan. 7:15-17). This clears up any misunderstanding of the great image of 4 different materials, as well -Dan.7:1-8. In brief both the image and the 4 great beast, represented four Kings who would rise up and rule over the world, and rule over Judah and God’s people, the Jews. God reveals nothing to Daniel regarding Pagan kingdoms. Only that God would use the power of the Pagan world to serve His purpose and plan to bring about the final destruction of the nation of Israel, as is described in detail in Deut. - 28:15-48. At this point in the Analysis of the fall of Israel, we will leave the Paragraph above, and the book of Daniel who describes the detailed destruction of Judah by using visions from God.

MEDO PERSIA RISES AS THE SECOND WORLD POWER. DANIEL 2:31-43; - DAN. 7:4-5.

King Cyrus was the first ruler of this Empire with the authorized power over all nations, God foretold of Cyrus and his rule in - Isaiah 44: 24-28. Here we are to learn more about the Jews and Judah. Those Jews who had left Babylon after the 70 years captivity went back to the land of Judah. - Ezra chapters 2 - 8; Nehemiah chapters 1-7. Therefore, we can easily see that God has forgiven His people once again. He is still married to them. Now King Cyrus will follow God’s instructions concerning the act of helping this people to rebuild the Temple, the city and the walls around the city. Cyrus will furnish timbers, and money to rebuild Judah. Cyrus will not invade the city of Jerusalem, nor the people so long as he remains their King. God will see to that, yet forthcoming in the history of the Jews, God saw them departing from Him, falling back into Paganism. It will not be long until God begins to send prophets into Judah, to warn them of His impending punishment described in - Deut. 28:15-48.

After many years of rule by Medo Persia, God brings war upon Persia. He prepares the small nation of Greece to begin a war against all the nations under the rule of Persia, God prepares a young boy of 18 years old, Alexander the great he was called. His father was the King of Macedonia an ancient country of northern Greece. With his father’s approval Alexander the great gathered 50,000 men with horses and elephants. Alexander was seen in Daniel’s prophecy as is so stated by Daniel in - Dan. 2:32-39, as the third part of the great image, and of Dan. 7:6, this one like a leopard. So the leopard represented Alexander the great. With 50, 000 men he destroyed the Persian Empire with its 6 million foot men, and all the nations round about. Alexander had 4 field generals who took over the Empire of Greece, after Alexander died at an early age. These 4 generals divided the new world into 4 sections, each ruled over his allotted portions. # 1, Cassender ruled over Macedonia, # 2, Lysimachus ruled over Thrace and Asia, # 3, Sefercius over Syria, # 4, Ptolemy Soter ruled over Egypt and Lybia. These rulers almost destroyed Judah before God was ready. Armed men stayed in Judah to punish them in every degree possible, they were a hated nation of people. (To read about these wars with the Jews obtain and read first and second Maccabees, in the book Apocrypha of the Old Testament.)

It cannot be argued that the Plan of God was ineffective. In fact it was the plan of God that contributed to the war between Babylon and Medo Persia, the war between Greece and Persia. -Deut. 28:15-48 confirms this. Without any doubt we can look at - Deut. 28:49-66 and see the rise of the fourth part of the great statue, Dan. 2:40-43. - Dan. 7:7-8. “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that was before it, and it had ten horns, v-8 While I was contemplating the horns, behold another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth uttering great boasts”. These two verses are equivalent with- Dan. 2:4-43, the great statue of iron and clay, the fourth and last of the statue.

Thus far we have the Scriptural description of the fourth beast which would be terrible and terrifying. So we look now for the Scriptural interpretation if the beast, and especially the 8th. Dan. 7:15-17, “These great beasts, which are four in number, are four Kings who will arise from the earth”. Dear reader do you remember Deuteronomy chapter 28? Did we read about God’s moral promises from - Deuteronomy 28:1-14? And do you remember what the penalty was for rejecting God? Do you remember who received this message, Jew or Gentile? And did God need a recourse to deal with this Hebrew nation? If not then let us refresh our mind from - Deuteronomy 28:49-66, “The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down, a nation whose language you shall not understand”. This is that great and terrifying beast of - Dan. 7:7-8, and - Dan. 2:40-43, the last of the four beast who ruled the known earth at this time, the beast Rome which would destroy Israel, and Jerusalem in 70 A. D. This information is conducive of the nation of Rome which God promised to bring against Judah, the Jewish nation. It is here that we can review the book of Daniel and show that all this calamity came upon the Jews and not the Gentiles. Please read the account that Moses gave to his people the Hebrews in Deut. 28:49-66. The Eagle that is mentioned here in verse 49, this is the emblem that was on the Roman flag, it was the Roman flag that came against Judah from Feb. 10, AD 67 to AD 70, it was during this time that the eleventh horn (Vespasian) the field general of Rome. Nero gave the orders to attack and destroy the nation of Judah in and on Feb. 10, AD 67, from here it is incumbent of me to give as I have promised on page, 1, top of page under “purpose”. To give an explicit explanation on Deut. 28: 1-14.

TYPES AND PATTERNS OF THE OLD TESTAMENT.

In retrospect we look back over material we have covered, and consider or revert to things of the past, in this way we bring forth Types and Patterns, types and Patterns are necessary in a correct investigation of the Holy Scriptures. At this point, it is best that we retrieve only those Types and Patterns that deals with Israel, and - Matthew chapter 24:1-34. Here is where we begin,- Deuteronomy 28:1-14, prior to coming into the promised land, on His part God promised to Israel His blessings provided Israel would obey Him. In order to accomplish the goal of obedience to Him, He put to death all those that was over 20 years of age, and the rest was welcomed into the promise land, each tribe was given grants of land; they settled each in his own order, but notice the tribe of Judah took the land in and around Jerusalem. Many people wonder today and ask why did Judah settle in Jerusalem? Please turn in your Bible to - Genesis 49:1-33, what you read is evident, clear, and precise. Jacob had 12 sons these 12 sons would become the 12 tribes of Jacob (Israel). For Jacobs name God changed to Israel; but before the 12 sons could receive a Covenant from God. God caused a famine to occur in the land where they were living, for survival they had to go down into Egypt for food. Jacob’s baby son Joseph had a vision and told it to his brothers, they laughed at him, he had another vision at night, and again he told it to his brothers; they laughed at him so he told his dream, or vision to his father Jacob. Joseph said, “Behold the sun the moon and eleven stars were bowing down before me.

And Jacob said to him, “What is this dream that you have had? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground? Notice -Gen. 37:9, “Behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me”. Here we see some very important symbols which will become patterns later. First, these symbols came true in a physical way when Jacob and his family came to Egypt to purchase grain, since there was a famine in their land and they had no food. Indeed they bowed down to Joseph who at this time was the Egyptian official who was in charge of the food supply in Egypt, they did not recognize Joseph. But Joseph recognized his family. His family came back the second time for grain. Physically this dream was fulfilled. But, secondly the sun, moon, and the eleven stars would by Spiritual symbols represent another pattern. Notice, in this dream or vision God used heavenly bodies to represent something far greater. On earth the symbol of the sun was used in the dream to represent Jacob as the ruler of his Tribe on earth, as the sun is ruler in heavenly bodies. The woman was represented as the moon, the second in command in the heavens, so the woman the moon would represent the lower degree of power on earth. The eleven brothers representing the stars of heaven would represent the people under the authority of the sun and moon. (Example, Judah had Kings the Sons who ruled over them, and Priest the lower part of the government, the Moon who supplied moral and religious power to the Tribe. The eleven stars representing the people of the tribe. This pattern runs from here to the ending of the book of Revelation.

Now you must read -Genesis 37:1-11, and gain access to the facts, and be able to acknowledge the truth regarding first the beginning of the Hebrew nation, as well as the following Types and Patterns coming forth from Genesis.

In keeping with Types and patterns Isaiah 13: 1-19, shows the continuation of Gen. 37:6-10. Keep in mind that we are looking for sure Types and Patterns from the beginning of the Hebrew nation, this research will address only those Types and patterns which demonstrates the problems and events which show a certain patterns which begins in the O.T and reaches forward to the N. T, in this case to - Matthew chapter 24:1-34. And which clearly shows only the Hebrew nation being involved.

Having already shown the preparation which God began to prepare a nation to Himself from - Genesis, 6:18, Noah, - Gen. 9:9, Noah, - Gen.9:12, Noah, - Gen. 9:12-15, Noah, Noah was the great 4 times grandfather of Abraham, Noah lived 350 years after the flood, - Gen. 9:28, then God separated Abraham to Himself, - Gen. 12: 1ff. You see the pattern of Covenants made to Noah, then to Abraham, - Gen. 15:18-21, Notice the following chapters in- Genesis, 17-31. All these Covenants are followed by setting a pattern, and those patterns looks forward to the one and same event.

Now having gone through the early patterns from - Gen. 6:18, in regards to people He chose who in latter years would accomplish His plan to establish a Holy nation to Himself. We must notice here that God did not incorporate other members of Noah’s descendants other than Abraham, into the Covenant. All the others had chose to go back into Paganism. This in itself proves that God did not recognize, or incorporate into His Covenant the class of heathens. It was as if the heathens did not exist. Wars was fought during the period of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, - Gen. 14:1-24, Abraham’s army 319 men of his house was approved by God although they had once been heathens; they became members of Abraham’s household, the time of this war, the way in which this war was fought did not incorporate heathens into Abraham’s army. In the same way in Matthew chapter 24, there is a war, a war that God has planned against his chosen ones which had deserted Him. It is a war not against heathen’s it was a war that heathen’s fought against God’s chosen, it was God’s revenge upon Judah the Hebrew nation. Matthew 24, begins in a Hebrew setting, - Matt. 24:1, “Jesus came out of the Temple”, the Temple was in Jerusalem. “His disciples came up to Him to point out the Temple building to Him. No Gentiles in the Temple. Verse 2 “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here shall be left upon another, which will not be torn down”. Does this not mean a war against Judah? Every verse from verse 1 to verse 34 describes a war against Judah, a time when the Prophet Jacob foretold to his son Judah what would happen to Judah’s nation in the latter day, - Gen. 49:8-10. Question, was Judah destroyed at Christ’s first coming? No, Then when was it destroyed? AD 70 according to -Zechariah, 14:1-9. When did this Covenant made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob become obsolete? A.D. 70, Heb. 8:13, it is when God gave the New Spiritual Covenant, to Spiritual Israel when they first came into Christ on Pentecost Acts 2:1-47, as chartered Christians, in that way the Gentiles later could be grafted in, - Romans 11:1ff.

Now let us follow the pattern of destructive agents against God’s creation, and His chosen one’s. Look at Genesis chapters 6-8, God brings a universal flood upon the land, destroying those who refused to obey His every command. Look at Genesis, - 11:1-9, another destructive event, brought upon those who refused to obey Him. Now move on forward to the time of Jacob and his family. Jacob’s sons conspiring to kill their baby brother Joseph, by casting him into a deep dug well, later a caravan came by this location and a cry for help; they retrieved Joseph from the well, and sold him into slavery to Egypt. God is preparing retribution against Joseph’s family. God brings a famine against the land where Jacob lived. Meanwhile Joseph had been blessed by God, and became a high official in the land of Egypt. Joseph was in charge of the food supply in Egypt. Jacob and son’s come to Egypt to buy grain, Joseph sells grain, he recognizes his family, but his family does not recognize him. Later they return for more grain, and finally they come to Egypt to live, after the death of Joseph, Egypt enslaves Jacob’s family, and they are in slavery for 430 years. But God hears their plea for help, Exodus, 2:24, Exodus, 3:1-8, “My people”. Now, God worked with Moses and together they brought this people, God’s people out of Egypt into the Red Sea, and then into the wilderness, - Exodus, 14:1-31, Sin continues to be rampant amongst this God’s people, so He causes them to wander in the wilderness for 40 years as the result of sin. After 40 years of wandering without knowing where they were, and after the death of Moses, God allowed His people to come out of the wilderness, but only after God had brought death upon all the people who were above 20 years of age. - Numbers 14:26-32, by scholars it is estimated that some 2 to 3 million died who was above 20 years of age. And we think this is a terrible thing for God to do, when you go through the books of Moses, and those leading up to Isaiah the prophet, 2, or 3 million is nothing. After God’s people entered the promise land they continued to sin, God talks to Moses in regards to his death and informs Moses that he is about to depart, and after he dies God informs him that this people would sin and depart from Him; they have another punishment coming. - Deuteronomy 31:14-18. (Please read).

Please notice that the Type and pattern of God punishing this people, His people Israel, began with the famine brought upon the sons of Jacob because of the way in which they treated their baby brother Joseph, Israel continued to sin throughout the Old Testament. And God continued to punish them, the ten northern tribes He Divorced them and brought Syria down upon them in war, and they were conquered, and carried back to Syria. The ten Tribes was an obstinate people and never returned. Again can you imagine the hurt that God endured over the loss of this many people? After God had brought floods, famine, earthquake’s, withholding rain, sending locust to destroy their crops, and they would not turn back to the Father. God’s patience ran out. This was several catastrophic events that happened to Israel. But remember in God’s plan, it took all these events for God to reach a point of destroying the physical nations of Israel. Judah would be the last of catastrophic events. Everything in Types and patterns that we have studied from the beginning of Genesis to Matthew chapter 24 directs our attention to the destruction of Judah in A.D.70, when - Genesis, 49:8-10 would be fulfilled. We have covered nothing from Genesis to Matthew chapter 24, where God has said, or indicated that the Gentiles would be punished under the prescribed rule of conduct or action; instruction or direction given in Matthew chapter, - 24:1-34. And - Luke chapter 21:20-32, to refuse to accept Scripture that is spoken by the Messiah, and caused to be written by the Holy Spirit in clear and understandable language is Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit, - Matthew, 12:32.

It is sometimes necessary to be redundant in order to communicate the truth, rather than nebulous ideas. Therefore, redundancy is used as a pedagogical device to remind you of important facts involving a particular subject, and events. Now let us once again look at the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Habakkuk in regards to the Chaldeans being raised up to punish Judah, then the same books cited above gives us knowledge that the Chaldeans indeed invaded Judah with force and over a period of 30 years carried Judah into the land of Babylon. God used Babylon to punish Judah, after the 70 years were completed God punished Babylon, - Jeremiah, 25:12, by causing Medo Persia to invade Babylon and conquer that nation, and as has been spoken before on page 4 and 5, Babylon was punished as was directed by God. But was not done during the time when God had decreed that Judah would be punished for 70 years. God did not incorporate the punishment of the Gentiles with the punishment of Judah. Neither did He do such a thing in -Matthew chapter 24; and - Luke, 21:20-32.

These catastrophic events were directed to Judah alone. Those today who contend that Matthew chapter 24 is yet future, and includes a world wide catastrophic burning is in need of Scriptural Proof. These same people runs to - 2 Peter, 3:10-13, Peter writes in symbol, or metaphorical language such as Moses used in - Genesis, 37: 6-10. Here Peter is describing to his people the events of war. A cleansing of the earth in preparation for the New Covenant in - Jer. CH. 31-30-34. Peter wrote to the seven Churches in Asia, which was made up from the Jewish element dispersed from Jerusalem in 50 A.D. - 1 Pet. 1:1-2; -2 Pet. 3:1-3. James wrote his letter to the seven Churches of Asia, - James 1:1, “to the called out, beloved in God”. Rev. 1:11, The countries where the Jews went were Pagans, the Jewish Christians helped to establish Christianity in these countries. But you can see already how quick the Jewish element is forsaking the Messiah. Read the account of the seven Churches. Read Rev. chapters 1-3, the 7 Churches.

DEUTERONOMY CHAPTER 28:49-66. “I WILL BRING A NATION AGAINST YOU FROM AFAR”.

That nation is described as being none other than Rome on Feb. 10, 67 A.D. Nero the Emperor called for his field General to come to Greece where Nero was engaged in the Olympics. War was declared on Judah, Kill and utterly destroy the land and people. The Roman Flag displayed the soaring Eagle. - Deut.28:50, “A nation of fierce countenance who shall have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young”.

When you read the rest of this chapter, then you can understand why Jesus said in Matthew, CH. 24: 2, “For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall’. - Deut. 28:52 depicts and describes to the point, just how Jesus described the destruction of the Temple to His disciples, when they came up to Christ to point out the Temple building to Him, “And He answered and said to them, do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here shall be left upon another, which will not be torn down”. Read - Deut. 28:53-61, can you imagine this happening in the United States? Imagine a foreign power invading this country, and people starving, eating the children they gave birth to, even the afterbirth!!! Yes this is what Jesus described in - Matthew, 24:21. As being tribulation He had promised upon the Jewish nation Judah. You cannot read in the Scriptures a greater Tribulation than this. NOW, how can you teach that - Matt. 24, Has not been fulfilled? How can you teach that this will be Gentiles and Jews who will be punished? HOW?

Deuteronomy, 31:17-18. No Pagan (Gentile) is mentioned in this discourse as being included in this great Tribulation. Deuteronomy was written to the Hebrews, (Jews) and was written by Moses. God said in, - Deut. CH. 28.

1, “If you, the Hebrews, obey Me diligently I will prosper you. - Deut. 28:15, God said, “BUT, if you will not obey the Lord your God, to observe to do all His commandants and His statutes which I charge you today, that all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you”. Look at what Jesus said in, - Matt. 5:17, “Do not think that I came to abolish the law or the prophets, I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill”. Fulfill what? Well for one thing the whole book of Deuteronomy. For quite another, - Matt. 16:27-28, the judgment, the second coming, the coming of the Kingdom of Christ. AND, you tell me that these things have not been fulfilled. Look closely at, - Matt. 16:28. If this has not been fulfilled. Tell me where some of these Apostles are now located, and how old would they be, especially since Jesus promised that some of them would not DIE before He Returns with the Kingdom? Can you Analyze verse 28, without following the rules of Analogy which dictates that we can use Resemblance of properties or relations: similarity without identity? The Bible Reference pages use this system. Therefore, we continue to use it.

Then, look closely at, - Luke 19:12-27, Jesus is the certain nobleman who went away to receive a Kingdom and return. Verse 14, but His citizens hated Him, and sent a delegation after Him saying, we do not want this man reigning over us. Verse 15, and it came about when He returned, after receiving the Kingdom, He ordered that these slaves, to whom He had given the money, be called to Him in order that He might know what business they had done. Reference, - DANIEL, 7:13-14, prophecy which foretells of the Christ receiving the Kingdom, as well as the Mandate of power in Heaven and earth. Reference, - Deuteronomy 18:15:-20. Describe the word Prophet. Britannica World Language. One who delivers Divine messages. An inspired predictor. A religious leader.

I do not know just which category that the reader might fit into; but I know that I can fit into only one the Religious leader. No I cannot interpret God’s Word, - 2 Peter 2:20-21. And No I have not had the Lord God to appear to me and give me messages to reveal to the world. Therefore, I must study as I am commanded by the Holy Spirit, “Study to show thyself approved unto God”. 2 Timothy 3:15. Well in studying I see where there is yet another similarity and reference to Judah and Jerusalem being destroyed. The Second Coming of Christ during the time when Jerusalem and the land being destroyed by Rome. First, Look at Zephaniah chapters 1, 2 and 3. Chapter 1 discloses the complete destruction of the land of Judah, the people, the City of Jerusalem, and Temple.

We cannot forget - Zechariah 12:1-3, and - Zechariah 13:1-9, and, - Zechariah, 14:1-9. A child can read this and tell you what is happening. All of this supports the teaching of Jesus in ,- Matthew 24:1-34, Coming of Himself during the generation in which He lived, “Truly I say to you, (The Apostles) This generation, (Christ’s generation) will not pass away until all these things take place. Reference to the word generation: - Luke 21:20-32. Acts 2:40, “Be saved from this perverse generation”. Peter had reference here to the generation which he lived in, Jesus had the same generation in mind.

Deuteronomy 31:20-22, “I know their intent which they are developing today, before I have brought them into the land I swore. “The song of Moses”, Does the Christian Jew sing this song today? If not, then why not. If Matthew 24 has not been fulfilled the Jews should be singing this song today, 2000 years later. Not only would the song of Moses be sung; but we would have the continuation of qualified prophets.

QUESTIONS WHICH DEMAND ANSWERS

If the reader of this inquiry is one who believes, and teaches others that Matthew 24, has not been fulfilled, and further, incorporates the foretold events and signs belonging to Matt. 24, into a global Catastrophe should be able to answer the following questions under # 1. Based upon Matt. 24:1-14, where is the Scriptural statement that any Gentile consideration is made in Matt. 24, especially since the Gentiles maintained great statues unto their Pagan god’s? Yet only the Temple in Jerusalem is mentioned in verses 1 and 2 “And then we read in 24:14, then the END shall come”, End of what? End of the world? Or the end of the Covenant age of the Jews? -Hebrew 8:13? There is no such language in Matt. 24 that teaches the end of the physical world. See Genesis, 8:20-22, - Eccl. 1:4 - Psalms 78:69 - Psalm 93:1 - Psalm 104:5 - Psalm 119:90 - Daniel 2:45. Dear reader if you want to know the Truth, and then follow the instructions of-2 Timothy 3:15, and Rev. 22:18-19.

Now let us examine - Matt.24: 24-34. V 24 reads, “For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible even the elect”. Then in verse 29, after the days of tribulations (those signs of events happening from verse 1 through 28) those days of tribulation is spelled out in Luke 21:20-32, the tribulation as the war between Rome and Judah, all religious history, and ancient secular history records this war as beginning Feb. 10, 67 A.D. And lasting three and one half years, or - Daniel 7:25, “time, times, and a half time”. Three and one half years. And John the Revelator speaks of this time in -Rev. 11:2, forty two months, or three and one half years, and -Rev. 11:3, twelve hundred and sixty days, three and one half years, also Rev. 12:6, one thousand and two hundred and sixty days. A close study of Revelation prove that Jesus was warning the seven Churches of the great tribulation during the period of war with Rome. The revelation being written and sent to ONLY seven Churches, they were in Asia, not America, that is clear,- Rev. 1:11. These were Churches started by the dispersed Jews from Jerusalem in 50 A.D. was these Churches warned that this catastrophe was at Hand? What is the warning in - Rev. 1:1, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His bond servants, the things which must shortly take place.” - Rev. 1:3, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it, for the time is near”.

Matt. 24:30, “And then the SIGN of the Son of Man will appear in the sky”. They will see the SIGN of the Son of Man. Not the physical man. The Scripture does not confirm the physical appearing! “The Tribes will mourn”. “There will be bitter weeping, they will look on Me whom they have pierced”. Zech.12:1-10, did you pierce the side of Jesus? Are those people who did pierce His side still living? How old would they be? 1980 years old. The same bitter disputes are made over Matt.16:28, concerning Christ coming in His Kingdom. Christ promised His Disciples that some of them would not taste of death before He came back, Are some of the Disciples yet living? Where are they? Wait! There is more to think about, Matt. 10:5-7, the disciples sent to Israel only, Matt. 10:22-23, the Disciples told they will not finish going through the land of Israel before He comes back. Gen. 49:8-10, here also is the second coming foretold by Jacob, the same coming as Matt. 24:30, Heb.9:28, Luke 19:15 ask your 1 question, Are the people of the world under a Covenant of salvation today? Yes? Or no? If your answer is yes, then Christ has already returned as promised, Heb. 9:28 and Jerusalem has been destroyed as was promised in Luke 21:20-32. Zech. 13:1-5, warns the nations in regards to Teachers, Preachers becoming prophets by foretelling events which were not true. “You shall not live for you have spoken falsely. His father and mother who gave birth to him will kill him with the sword when he prophesies”. Deut. 18:20, false teacher, preacher, prophet, “Shall die”.

The Second Coming of Christ. - Matt. 24:30, the time of Tribulation has been proven, the time of the Second Coming is also proven. - Zephaniah chapter one, - Zechariah 14:1-9, The war of Rome and Judah was indeed the greatest event known to man, or ever would be, Deut. 28:49-68.- Matt. 24:21, For then there will be a great Tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until NOW. Please go back and read - Deut. 28:49-62, have you ever read anything as horrible as this? Even the great flood was not greater. Think Truthfully, If Christ knew that the war and Tribulation would have been two thousand years later, would He have said: “For then” (34 years later) At this time Christ was some 33 years old it would have been near 34 years later until this prophecy would be fulfilled. 1980 years later will not fit the character of Christ. There will be a great Tribulation, such as has NOT occurred since the beginning of the world until “NOW”? The word “NOW” is described in world language as “At once, or during the present time, as just” NOW”. Can you imagine Jesus Christ making a statement like the above, and not knowing what He meant? BRITANNICA WORLD LANGUAGE, Funk and Wagnall’s.

Matt. 24:31. We cannot study Matt. 24:30, without studying verse 31, “And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. Have you ever read this and wondered what was meant. Well, turn and read 1 Thessalonians 3:13. Notice, “At the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints”, (The Elect). So it is in Matt. 24:31, those saints who had obeyed Christ’s Gospel and remained faithful until death was His saints which He Himself would resurrect to life, this was resurrection under the New Spiritual Covenant. For understanding we will show the resurrection of God’s saints under the Covenant of Law. Isaiah 26:14-19; Hosea. 6:1-3, Matt. 27:50-53, Heb. 2:14-15; John 5:24-29. But now, according to Scripture, when Jesus Christ returned, “Second Coming” A. D. 70, to remove the Covenant of Law which God gave to Abraham’s descendants, the 12 sons of Jacob, Hebrews 8:13, He brought the New Spiritual Covenant which we today live under, and which Christians Resurrections today are governed, therefore, today is a different law, especially since Satan has been judged, John 12:31; 16:11; 1 John 3:8; Heb. 2:14-15. There is now no place as there once was, the Hadean realm was also vanished. Today we hear preachers speaking of our resurrection; they refer this resurrection to the end of the world when Christ makes His “second Coming”. But this is false according to First Thessalonians 4:17, “Then We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and thus we shall always be with the Lord”.

To some degree allow me to diagram these verses. First, verses 13, through 16 has reference to God’s people being resurrected under the Old Covenant, “The dead in Christ will rise first”, but under a New Covenant.

Meaning those who obeyed the Gospel before the “Second Coming” THEN, verse 16, “And the dead in Christ will rise first.” Then verse 17 is merely a resurrection occurring simultaneously throughout eternity of Christ’s saints, this is supported by John 14:1-3, “I go away to prepare a place for you”. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10; 1 Cor. 15:12-23, verse 24, “then comes the end”, the end of what? The end of God’s reign when He gives the mandate of power to His Son Jesus Christ Daniel 7:13-14; Zech. 14:5; 1 Thess, 4:16, this is Not the end of the world, as some teach.

Now, according to Matt. 24:34, all these things must take place during the generation which He lived, Luke 21:32. Who is right, Christ, God, the Holy Spirit, or God. Who must you believe?

Jesus makes a True statement in Matt. 24:34 to His Disciples; especially notice: “This generation”. Be careful how you handle World language, if you do not know what certain words mean, you should learn. (“This”) Means it is something “designated as here, present, something singular”. BRITANNICA World Language. In this case Jesus is designating something happening within His own Generation of people. The thing designated is the total fulfillment of verses 1 through 34, Matt.24, of all things the words, (their generation) or (our generation) as false teachers adds to it will not fly!

Phrases within the Bible which reads as follow, “the end of the world, the end of time, the last days, the end of the ages”. All meaning the end of the Covenant age, the end of the Jewish dispensation, - Heb.8:13. - 2 Peter 3:10-13, - Heb. 1:2, - Matt. 13:39, - Heb.9:26, (See Genesis 8:20-22). 1 Cor. 15:24, - Matt.10:24, James 5:11, is not referring to the complete END of time, and the destruction of the world, it is referring to the END of Covenant rule of the Jews as is shown by the prophet Jacob in -Genesis 49:8-10. Jacob foretold the future for each of his 12 sons, to Judah he said, "Judah your brothers shall praise you; Your hand shall be of the neck of your enemies; Your fathers sons shall bow down to you. Judah is a lion’s whelp; from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He couches, he lies down as a lion, And as a lion, who dares rouse him up? The Scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes”.

Shiloh is one of the names of the Messiah, the Messiah of, - Isaiah 9:6-7. So which coming is Jacob referring to? Was it the coming when the Messiah, the Christ was born? NO. Why? Because Judah continued to be a nation, and have complete rule during the life of Christ, and afterwards. Reason? Christ was born through the nation of Judah this was a well known fact, so Judah remained Judah Until the second coming.

If you study - Jeremiah chapter 23:1-24, God is looking ahead and revealing the birth, and reign of Christ. Also verses 1-2, He relates the conditions surrounding Israel and Babylon, then verses 3-24 God relates the conditions involving Judah during the war between Judah and Rome; then you see conditions revealing the Remnant being saved, - Micah 2:13-14. A curse against false prophets, (Preachers and teachers). Verses 16-24, God compares prophets throughout eternity with the prophets of the Old Testament. (The false prophet must Die Deut. 18:14-22).

What was the purpose of the Second Coming of Christ? First, it was to confirm the total rule of Christ. Secondly, it was to remove the Scepter, and Rulers staff from Judah, the Covenant. Gen. 49:8-10. Thirdly, it was to conduct and oversee the war between Rome and Judah, - Zechariah 14:1-9. Fourthly, it was to be ready to deliver the Remnant to safety by splitting the Mount of Olives in half leaving a large Tunnel for the escape of the Remnant from Jerusalem.-Micah 2:12-13,- Zech. 14:4. Fifthly. To Fulfill all Old Testament prophecy, - Matt. 5:17. New Covenant, Heb. 2:14-15.

In closing this document, I will say without reservation, that God has the ability to look down upon earth from His dwelling place and see the conditions of the religious world today, what He sees is history of the Old Testament being Repeated, False prophets. “As for the prophets: My heart is broken in Me, all My bones tremble”. When I consider in the United States Alone more than 2300 denominational Churches exist all teaching a different doctrine contrary to that doctrine found in the Scripture. All these bearing a different name, that does not make sense when applied to - Acts 4:11-12, Why is this so? - Well for one thing Types, Patterns, and history has, and will continue to repeat itself. Secondly, we must understand that God did not create mankind without giving him the privilege of choice, which was a peculiar benefit, or an immunity enjoyed only by choice. Therefore, from A. D. 33, when the Lord’s Church was established until the middle of the third century A. D. mankind knew no other religious institutions except Paganism. But in the middle of the third century the Roman Catholic Church raised it head out of the ashes of the Roman Empire. The Roman Church and the Roman Pretorian Guard continued its persecution against the Lord’s Church, and its doctrines - Rom. 16:16, so man begin to think outside the box, and began looking for an outlet, it has grown to what we see today. Mankind has used his privilege to say No to God. The results are False Teachers. It happens when Preachers and Teachers cannot agree 100% on what the Word of God Teaches. But that’s not where it stops.

It is difficult in this century to teach people the truth per - 2 Timothy 3:16. Subjects such as fulfilled prophecy, people today do not want to hear it; they rather hear music in the Church, pretend that they have received the Holy Spirit in a miraculous way, and just act as if they were involved in an old timely barn dance, or you hear them say oh you think you people are the only people going to heaven don’t you? These are only a few practices of religion. But in my experience the most harmful practices is when Elders of a Church forbids teachers or preachers from discussing such Scriptural events as fulfilled prophecy, Resurrection, Judgment, the second coming of Christ, Or the annihilation of Satan. - Daniel 7:26, - Hebrews 2:14-15, - John 12:31, - John 16:11. These are Scriptural events they are the Words of Jesus Christ. Why would Elders not allow these events to be discussed? I can think of only one reason. Ignorant themselves; they being Elders of the Lord’s Church, openly Deny such events as Christ’s death bringing about the death of Satan, - Heb. 2:14-15. It is clear, to deny this, is to Deny that Christ Himself died. Throughout the Old Testament God’s plan was for Christ to die, and destroy the earthly power of Satan. It took His death to satisfy the demands of Satan, and to release the spirits Satan held.

Wars are bad, global war is worse. But religious wars such as Judah was involved in for near 1500 years is really unheard of, but it served as a pattern to show people of all ages just what God will really do when the people of earth turns their hearts against Him. Honestly take a close look at the world today. Do you see the conditions of another Judah? 85% of the people are looking for the world to explode and burn up, per - 2 Peter 3:10-13. But they forget to read the rest of the chapter, and to look at the references, such as - Isaiah 13:1-19. This will not turn people’s heart, but perhaps a Catawampus event will. It might correct malicious and destructive forces within the Lord’s Church. Especially when we are near oblivion.

The Scriptures speaks of “heaven and earth will pass away”. Before you wager your soul on Matt. 5:18; Luke 21:33, as being literal you need to look at the Pattern and prophecy of these two Passages. Please for the sake of understanding study Isaiah, 13:1-19. Pay close attention in regards to Isa. 13:9-10, sun, moon, stars of heaven.

Remember Genesis 37: 5-10, read this again. MAY GOD BE PRAISED.

OBSERVATIONS: Perhaps to the reader of this document it could sound strange, untrue, an attention seeker. The only attention I want is for the reader to stop and ask yourself this one question can I prove this writer to be untrue? If you can I sincerely pray that you will, because in this document I have labored to be faithful to Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may PROVE what the will of God is, that is good and acceptable and perfect.” Now I ask a question did God in all His dealing with the holy men of old, ever allow the holy Prophets to change the message He had relayed to them?

If one will let 2 Timothy 2:15 be a God given light, and study he will find that the Apostle who was given the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven Matt. 16:19, said in 2 Peter 1:20-21, “but know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”

Having said the above, I sincerely pray that the person reading this document will take time to read and study Daniel chapter 2 verses 1-48, here you will read about King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who had a terrifying dream which left him troubled, this dream was in regards to the huge statue made up of four different materials, the first was the head of gold which represented the king and the nation of Babylon. Babylon was the first of the four world empires which would rule over the known world before the annihilation of Judah of Israel. The next substance breast and arms of silver, this represented the second world empire which would rule over the known world Medo Persia. The third part of the huge statue the belly and thighs were of bronze the nation of Greece. The fourth part of the statue its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay the fourth world Empire Rome, which in 70 A. D. Brought destruction to Judah of Israel. This is the exact time period when Christ would return the second time to remove the old Covenant from Judah and remove the rulers staff from between his feet, Genesis 49:8-10. Zechariah 14:1-9.

Daniel 7:1-8, Daniel has a vision from God, here God represents the four world Empires as four great Beast. Daniel was confused, his spirit was distressed, one of the angels standing by informed Daniel that the four beast was four Kings which would arise from the earth. Dan. 7:15-17, So both the great statue and the four beast represented a time period when Judah of Israel would be destroyed by the fourth beast, or king, and the eleventh horn. The eleventh horn was Vespasian the field general of Rome. Rome declared war upon Judah Feb. 10, 67 A.D. and that war lasted for the period of time prescribed by God “Time, times, and one half time, or three and one half years. The Rock that struck the great statue and destroyed their power of Dan. 2:34, was Christ and His Church Dan. 2:44-45, and Dan. 7:13-14. The world historians records this war and its date. God set this calendar and Jesus informed the Jews of the same catastrophic event in Matthew chapter 24, as was told by Daniel. Jesus used the parable of the tares to convey the same information. Even Jesus said that Daniel spoke of these events, Matt. 24:15.

Now, if you move this event of Matt. 24 to a yet future date you must also be able to establish the four world Empires as they once was before Christ to be able to have fulfillment!

Further if this event has not been fulfilled, you must admit that Christ was sadly mistaken as to the date of God’s calendar, Matt. 24:34, “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until ALL these things take place. (See also Luke 21:20-32). All these things had need of fulfillment before Christianity could become reality. Jesus said I come to fulfill Matt. 5:17.

My prayer is that some soul may find the truth and be saved. Scare tactics will save no one.
