Daniel’s Seventy Weeks:  Daniel 9:24-27

In the third year reign of Jehoiakim King of Judah.  God sent Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to besiege Jerusalem, and to carry back to Babylon the vessels of God from the Temple, Also to capture some of the sons of Israel including some of the royal family and some of the nobles.

It was perhaps God’s hope that the end results would be that those who remained in Judah would recognize that God had begun to punish them for their sins, and that they would turn and repent.

Daniel was a youth; some scholars reason that his age must have been fifteen to sixteen especially since he was referred to as a youth.

No defect was found in Daniel, or his three friends that was taken also to Babylon as exiles.  It would appear that Daniel and his friends became very concerned in regards to their pleasing the will of God.  Therefore, Daniel 1:8 informs us that he made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the King’s food and drink, God seemed to be pleased for he granted Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah favor and compassion among the officials of Babylon.  They were found to have no defect so the King took them in as personal servants.

Some Years Later:

King Nebuchadnezzar begins to have dreams, and he was troubled in spirit and sleep.  The Chaldean sorcerers, Daniel 2:10 advises the King that no man on earth can declare the meaning of his dream.  The King decrees that all wise men of Babylon should be destroyed, including Daniel 2:19 in a vision the matter was revealed to Daniel.  Daniel 2:20-23 now gives the praise to God and is ready to reveal the message to the Kings of the other three kingdoms which would arise after him, the forth being Rome. Daniel 4:18 Nebuchadnezzar recognizes that the spirit of the God of heaven is in Daniel. Daniel 4:27 advised the King to break away from his sins and be saved.  Daniel 4:37 the King announces the Power of God.  Evil mar duct co-reigned with his father, the Seven Periods of Punishment for Nebuchadnezzar while he was away would seem from all evidence to point to Evil Mardock, to son of Nebuchadnezzar, the queen mother and government.  Daniel was well on his way of becoming God’s envoy in this part of the World.

Belshazzar the new King sees the handwriting on the wall, and promises that any man who can read the inscriptions and explain its interpretation will become the third ruler in the empire 5:7.  The second in command, the queen mother advises her son to send for Daniel whom the spirit of God is in.

So Daniel declared the interpretation and became the third ruler in the Kingdom.  Now Daniel is in position to better serve God, and to give great aid to the exiles, his people.

The meads and Persians invade the empire of Babylon.  Daniel has control perhaps the Priest of Babylon, and with God preparing this take over Daniel great as he was, did influence the Priest to open the gates to the city while God’s chosen King Cyrus Isaiah 44:1; 45: 1-3.  Prophecy of Deut 28:15-47 is now being fulfilled before the eyes of Daniel, which gives him greater faith in God.

After Darius the meads became King over the empire of Babylon.  Watch as you see God’s had working in favor of Daniel.  Darius appointed 120 satraps over the kingdom.  He appoints them of whom Daniel was one. 6:3, Darius planned to appoint Daniel over the whole kingdom.

6:16, Darius spoke to Daniel with great faith in Daniel saying, “Your God whom you constantly serve will himself deliver you”, from the den of Lions.

Daniel because of his faith in God and righteous living enjoyed great success in the reigns of Darius and Cyrus the Persian.  God has loved and prospered Daniel, Daniel loved and obeyed God and Daniel cared for his people the exiled Jews.  This is shown to be a fact from Daniel 9:1-22.  Daniel was a great and respected man in all nations, yet he showed love and compassion for his people.

Because of this great compassion and love for mankind God entrusted Daniel with heavenly secrets, secrets which Daniel sealed up until God’s appointed time, and which concerned his people, Daniel 10:14; 12:1-7.

Now Gabriel informs Daniel and understanding of the seventy weeks.  God deemed Daniel as the most worthy to be entrusted with this information.

Then at the right time God would choose another like unto Daniel to take his information and reveal it in the last days of Israel.

Like a beautiful detailed tapestry, the Apostle John’s Gospel and his revelation are so intricately woven together in order to present a beautiful picture, epic in scope and immortal in theme.  Everlasting patterns portray the mystery of the heavenly Son of God who were willing to leave the greatest place one could ever imagine, His Father’s sanctuary in search of His earthly bride and a spiritual kingdom.

The Gospel begins with the Holy Spirit descending out of heaven like a dove upon the Son of God, Matthew 3:16.  Revelation ends (Rev 21:2) with the bride of Christ descending out of heaven, made ready for her groom, and was adorned in and with all the graces of the Spirit.

The Gospel of John and the Revelation is the result of all things coming together in a completed circle only after the end of Daniel’s seventy weeks.  These two books, which have endured time and eternity, have shown why John was referred to as the Apostle of love.

We begin with the Love of the Father for His Son before the foundation of the world 1 Peter 1:20-21.  We look into all the past dispensations, arriving at last to the victorious wedding supper of Christ the Lamb of God, and the love of the bride for her husband at the beginning of everlasting eternity.  The Gospel of the bridegroom begins in a wilderness, but God brings the bride of Revelation, at last to a new heaven and earth, and to God’s sanctuary.

The Bride is portrayed in such a beautiful, powerful, and everlasting way in Daniel 7:27 as the Messiah receives the spiritual assembly, or kingdom on earth. Being the reality of the end results of Daniels’ seventy weeks, as God himself has prepared the bridge for her groom being dressed in the finest linen of Heaven, so white and pure.

We must keep in mind that only the finest white is fitting because of the purity and spirituality of the bride; and how sad to recapitulate the bloodstained robe of the groom.

In all this, people rejects God’s accounting of the matters and enjoy their own interpretation, See 2 Peter 1:20-21.

Eager to hire new salesman to go out and take orders for the newly manufactured goods produced from the new factory, one man was hired that the sales department was sure he would fail.

But when the salesman wrote his first Sales Report back to the home office, it stunned the brass in the sales department.  Obviously our new hope was a blithering illiterate hillbilly, for here in his own words is what he had written: “I seen this outfit, which they ain't never bought a dimes worth of nothing from us, and I sole them a couple hundred thousand dollars of guds. I am now going to Checargo.”

Before we could give this salesman the heave-ho by the Sales Manager along came another letter from him in Chicago: “I cum here and sole them a hafa millyon of guds.”

The sales manager, fearful if he did, and fearful if he did not fire the illiterate Peddler, determined that he would dump the problem in the lap of the President.

The following morning the members of the ivory tower were flabbergasted to see the two reports on the bulletin board, and this note from the President tacked above: “We been spending two much time trying to spel, and too much time trying to figure out where to put a period.  Lets watch those sails.  I want that everybody should read this cus I think that each one of yous should go out and do as he done."

I.Q. and Wisdom

For sure, we too often confuse I.Q. with wisdom – brilliance with common senses, and enthusiasm with immaturity.

We tend to become intellectual snobs rather than men of wisdom and understanding.

The Apostle Paul

I join the Apostle in saying as I come to you in regards to Daniel and his seventy weeks.  I do not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, but proclaiming the truth in regards to that which must be accomplished before the seventy weeks or 490 years expire.  1 Cor. 2:1

The Apostle Paul also wrote to the Roman Christian about this very thing Rom. 14:1-7.  When others are happy, be happy with them.  Don’t try to get in the good graces of important people, but enjoy the company of ordinary folks.  Don’t think you know it all.

Wisdom comes from God.  It does not come from man.  This explains why sometimes a “simple country bumpkin” can get a job, or a lesson thought.  When all the big city grammar professors are completely stumped and appalled.

When you find a man that is wise “Go and do as he has done.”  Jessie Mills

Daniels Seventy Weeks

Planned and written by God before the foundation of the world reveals a time window in which God decreased and specified a time when all things written, all events, and covenants of the past would be fulfilled and finished, Daniel 12:1-7; Luke 21:20-22.

Over half of the Christian world today is neglecting the decree of Daniel 9:25, and slapping God in the face saying the Second Coming has not been fulfilled, Resurrection and judgments, and the end of the world.  Gentiles for some unknown scriptural reason thinks the Old and New Testament was written to, and for them.  The Bible was written to the Jews, their spiritual covenant, Jer. 31:31 ff. After the grafting in Rom. 11:11-30, came through the Jewish world by the will of God, therefore, in order that the Gentiles along with the Jews could be saved.

Prophecy Completed

Each word written in Daniel was a mystery to him.  Daniel 7:15-16 he is confused and troubled.  So the Angel revealed the exact meaning of the things from Daniel 7:1, Daniel 12:13, Daniel 12:5-10.  The Angel’s revealed to each other in passages cited.  The time consumed in the actual removal of Israel and Judah would be for “time, times,” And a half, or three and one half years God’s Prophetic Time, and as soon as they (Romans) finish shattering the Power of the holy People, All these events will be completed.  At the end of all the events then Judah’s Covenant would be obsolete and expired Hebrew 8:13.

The preceding events were known and were written by God before the foundation of the World. Christ was foreknown before the foundation of the world, 1 Peter 1:17-20.

If this were not so, why did God preach the gospel to Abraham Gal 3:8?  Why did God renew the spiritual covenant with Isaac?  Why would God open up to Jacob and reveal to him, the events of the world.  We know this because before his death he called 12 sons to his bedside, Gen., Chapter forty-nine.  Although at this time the twelve sons had not yet established tribes, and here we see Jacob informing his sons as to the events and end of their life, as well as their descendants, Gen. 49:10 and to Judah he and his descendants would retain the nation and the kingdom until Shiloh comes.  “Second coming.”  When Shiloh comes he will remove the scepter from Judah before the seventy weeks expire.  Their covenant is dead and ready to pass away, Hebrew 8:13, Proverbs 8:22-29.

Events to be Accomplished.

“These Last Times” in which Daniel speaks, does not refer scripturally to the

“Last Times” of the Gentiles, rather it is directed toward the Jews.  Therefore, since God himself decreased the time frame, or the time window of 490 years inside this time window.  Nothing will begin to have its fulfillment, until the issuing of a decree by King Cyrus.  God had appointed him as the person who would issue the decree that would begin the 490 years, Ezra 5:13, 14.

King Cyrus reigned to please God, Isa 44:28, Isa. 45:1-7.  Since Cyrus issued the decree to restore and rebuild the city and temple at Jerusalem, the seventy weeks, or 490 years begin also.  To predict future events beyond the time decreed is to blaspheme God, and Christ, Matthew 12:32.

Judgment of the wicked

Daniel, 7:9-10,” thrones were set up and the ancient of days took his seat.”  V-10, the court sat, and the books were opened.”

Revelation 20:4, “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them.  And, I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, and those who had not worshipped. The beast or his image, and had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

The fulfillment of Daniel 7:9-10, Jews judging Jews, no Gentiles is here seen. And Jesus said to them, truly I say to you, that you who have followed me in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on His glorious throne.

You also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”  So now you have proof positive that Revelation 20:4, Jews are judging Jews; for sure they found Israel guilty because God released Satan from his prison, Revelation 20:7.  And he will come out to deceive the nations, 20:8.  And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.  The fulfillment of the destruction of the Jews, Deut. 28:48-68, please read Deut. Ch. 28.

Daniel 9:27, “on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction.”  Compare Deut., 28:48.  Also compare Luke 21:20-22.  Now, I ask when was the Jewish Prophecy fulfilled?  Now, where is the Gentile Prophecy?

But, the Gentiles should be glad and rejoice.  John 3:18, which included the Jews, also included the Gentiles.  The righteous will not be judged John 3:18. Now, we can see all the things being fulfilled before the seventy weeks were expired; including the destruction of Satan, Revelation 20:10, Isa 2:4.

“The Last Days”

Accomplished during the period of the seventy weeks.  The Last day’s is not the end of the universe.  Rather the end of Israel. Getting ready for the Messiah, “In the Last Days” Isa. 2:1-4.  Prophecy of the Spiritual Assembly of Christ, Micah 4:1.

The established Assembly (church) will be chief, Matthew 16:18, Matthew 17:1ff, Isa, 2:2.

Law goes forth from the established assembly at Jerusalem, Isa. 2:3, Acts, 4:12, Col 1:18, Eph 4:4,5. God takes the kingdom from Judah and gives it to a nation who will bear fruit of it, Matthew 21:43, Romans 11:11.  Christ is born, the Prince of Peace, Isa 9:6-7. Christ dies at the end of the World (Age), Hebrew 9:26.

All these things must be accomplished before the seventy weeks expires.

“The day of the Lord”

The day of the Lord, and the Coming of the Lord is one and the same day, Zeph. 1:7.  The great sacrifice at His coming, Zeph. 1:7-8.

Behold your king is coming to you endowed with salvation, Zech. 9:9-10. The Lord will direct the war between Israel and Rome from the Mount of Olives, Zech. 14:1-5. On the day of His coming He will take vengeance against Israel.  Their doom is sealed, Zech. 14:1-5.

On the day of His coming He will be king over all the earth; and in that day the Lord will be the only one.  And His name the only one, Zech 14:9; Acts 4:11-12.  At His coming, He will come to destroy Israel.  Christ came to destroy their leadership, to destroy the Priesthood, to destroy their city, 2 Pet. 3:1-10 and to destroy God’s Covenant with Israel, Hebrew 8:13.

Comment:  Peter uses fire as a destructive force, however, it is used to denote destruction against Israel.  God used the same language to denote the destruction of Babylon, Isa. 13:1-18.  A sincere reader should compare 2 Peter, 3:1-10, with Israel, 13:1-18.

At His coming He will remove the scepter from between the feet of Judah, which in turn would leave Judah without authority, or power to retain the kingdom of God, and the nation, Gen. 49:10; Hebrews 8:13.

At His coming all the righteous dead will have been resurrected from the earth, 1 Cor. 15:23; Isa. 26:19 speaks prophecy in regard to this event. Daniel 12:1-7 speaks of this event in verse 2, and goes on to write as the angels spoke, that this resurrection would occur when they finished shattering the power of the holy people A.D. 70.  So, all history records Israel being completely destroyed in A.D. 70.  If that were true, then the resurrection occurred before Israel was shattered well within the seventy weeks of Daniel 12:1-3.

New Name

Isaiah wrote “and you will leave your name for a curse to my chosen ones, and the Lord God will slay you; But my servants will be called by another name because, he who is blessed in the earth shall be blessed by the God of truth; and he who swears by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten and because they are hidden from my sight. For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind”, Isa. 65:15-17.

The fair meaning of the new heaven and earth, is best understood from Gal. 4:22-31, where Paul speaks of the new as being spiritual, coming down from heaven.  Compare with Revelation 21:1-6 where God speaks of a spiritual assembly, a spiritual covenant, a spiritual kingdom, a spiritual leader Christ Jesus, Isa. 9:6-7.  So, rather than look into the physical future for some drastic physical and facial change of the heaven or earth, look for spiritual change instead.

All these events must be completed before the seventy weeks ends. And it was, Acts 11:26.

The New City of God

Ezekiel writes concerning the New City, Ezekiel 40:1-2, and Ezekiel 43:6-7.

God showed Ezekiel this city.  “In the vision of God he brought me into the land of Israel, and set me on a very high mountain; and on it to the south there was a structure like a city,” Ezekiel 40:2.

Again God speaks to Ezekiel, “Son of Man this is the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the sons of spiritual Israel forever,” Ezekiel 43:7.

For more details of this City that will be some where in Israel read Revelation 21:9-27.  Remember that spiritual Israel covers the whole earth, Gal. 4:22 so wherever Christian are found it is spiritual Israel.

So, what does it mean when God shows Ezekiel the great structure on earth, and states, this is the place of my throne?  On earth!  Now for the answer:

“And they shall live on the land I gave to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons, and their sons; sons forever, Ezekiel 37:25-28.  And David my servant shall be their Prince forever. And I will make a covenant of peace with them:  it will be an everlasting covenant with them, Jer. 31:3-21.  And I will place them and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forever.  My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people. And the nations will know that I am the Lord who sanctifies Israel when my sanctuary is in their midst forever, Ezekiel 37:25-28.

This event must be completed before the end of the seventy weeks, which would expire in 70 A.D. And it did! Read about it in Revelation 21:1-16. “It is done,” says God.

Observations in Regards to “Moving the Sanctuary”.

Since during the time of the Tabernacle, and temple days God dwelled in His sanctuary the holy of holies.  However, on occasions when the sins of the people reached a level that he could not bear, he returned to his sanctuary in heaven, leaving the wicked to be slaughtered, Ezekiel 9:3-7, 10:4-5, 10:18-19, 11:23.

So, it was not unusual that God would leave His people for the grim reaper.  Therefore, it was not unusual in Ezekiel 37:26-28, for God to announce the moving of His sanctuary permanently to earth.

And I am reminded that in Daniel 9:24 He sets a time for this move, it also would be within the time frame of the seventy weeks.  Why the seventy weeks?  This was the time decreed for all things to be completed and made new, Daniel 12:1-7. A time when the spiritual covenant of Jer. 31:31, it would be ratified by Christ as physical things passed away 2 Cor 5:17.  “Behold I am making all things new,” Revelation 21:5.  The Tabernacle of God is among men and He shall dwell among them, Revelation 21:3.

God Himself Comes

Zechariah saw the Lord Jesus at the destruction of Jerusalem as fighting against those nations who came with Rome to destroy Israel, and Judah. Zechariah 14:3, the Lord Jesus in that day would stand on the Mount of Olives so this happening in 70 A.D.  We can rightly say Christ was there as part of what is referred to as the “Second Coming.” But! Now Zechariah makes it known that after the carnage has ended “Then the Lord my God, Will Come And All The Holy Ones With Him." I am reminded that Zechariah very clearly makes a distinction between the Lord Jesus who fought the nations, and who stood on the Mount of Olives, and the Lord my God who came and brought all the holy ones with Him.  Compare with 1 Thess. 4:14.

Did the Resurrection of 1 Thess. Meet God in the clouds, or was it Christ?  So, we go to 1 Thess. 4:13-17.  I think that only one verse will scripturally answer the question.  1 Thess. 4:14. “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.”

Again, both Jesus and God are here represented.  But, who, and which one will come and bring all the holy ones with Him?  God.  But, there can be no “but” with the honest Christian who seeks truth.

Those Christians who remained spiritually alive after the last day of Daniels seventy weeks, and who transited into God’s new heaven and earth; they as spirits will be caught up to meet the Lord as soon as biological death is completed for in Heaven they have a new spiritual body waiting for them, one that the Lord Jesus prepared 2 Cor. 5:1-9.

“Second Coming,” as Per Daniel 9:25-26.

“So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree”, Ezra 5:13,  “To restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince”, Isaiah 9:6,7, Daniel 9:25.

“Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing,” Daniel 9:26.

Daniel 9:25, “There will be seven weeks and sixty two weeks:  after the total of sixty nine weeks, the Messiah will have offered himself as a sacrifice on the cross.  After which it is said He would have nothing.  Rather there would be His Resurrection and the return to heaven, which would occur during the first half of seventy-week, leaving one half week, or three and one half years.  A.D. 33.

We must remember that when God brought this people out of Egypt, and into the wilderness, that He during their tribulation and distress gave them a period of forty years to transit into the physical Covenant of Judaism.

And when the forty years were completed all those below twenty years of age who had obeyed God went into the Promise Land.  Those who rebelled against God, God destroyed.

So, it was with the same People that from the baptism of the Christ (A.D. 30 Jewish sacred calendar).  God would, and did give the same people forty years to decide to serve God, and transit into Christianity.  The last half of week seventy would begin on the recorded date that Nero declared war on Israel, and Judah.  February 10, 67 A.D.  Those Jews who refused to serve God was destroyed in this war.

The “Second Coming” of the Lord at this time is very evident as is recorded by Zechariah says He would stand on Mount of Olives.  With Zechariah recording God’s Word in regards to the presence of Christ at the scene of war, it becomes the great and terrible day of the Lord, Joel 2:31.  The great and terrible day of the Lord, Malachi 4:5 the “Second Coming.”

Malachi 4:1-4 describes the awful day or days when the Lord takes His vengeance on Israel, and Judah. The day that Peter speaks of in his letter to the Jews: 2 Peter 3:1-10.  At this point the reader has a pressing need to compare the language of Peter in 3:10-11, Malachi 4:1-4, Isaiah 13:1-18.  Above all know that the Bible was written to the Jews, not Gentiles.

This alone can cause a greater truth to be revealed by teachers, preachers, and writers.  It’s time we accept what God says.

In the continuation of the “Second Coming,” we must look closely at Acts Chapter two.  The Apostles were gathered as was instructed on the day of Pentecost, and suddenly the Words of Jesus began to be fulfilled as Christ Himself informed His Apostles in John 14:16-17; 14:26, John 16:13. Then the Holy Spirit rested on each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance, Acts 2:4.  It is evident that the Holy Spirit had control of what the Apostles spoke, for he used them to speak through.  We notice the out of control crowd accusing the Apostles of being drunk.  Peter takes his stand and informs the people, that this was spoken by Joel the Prophet.  The Holy Spirit through Peter confirms fulfilled prophecy, and great distress before the great and terrible day of the Lord shall come, Acts 2:4-20.

We understanding then that the great and terrible day of the Lord and the “Second Coming” is one and the same event, and must have its fulfillment before the seventy weeks of Daniel expired.

Let’s face some facts.  Most of the people’s misunderstanding comes from their belief that Revelation was written about 90 A.D.  And those things, plus the “Second Coming” is yet future!

Let’s consider Daniel 12:1-7.  Verses 6-7 “How long will it be until the end of these wonders” verse 6; verse 7 “And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half time.” The period of war February 10 67 A.D. to August or September 10, 70 A.D.” and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the Holy people”, Daniel 12:7.

Luke 21:24, Therefore if Rome declared war on Israel, and Judah, and their power were shattered by the Gentiles in 70 A.D., then the Revelation could not have been written late. Why?  It more clearly reveals what Daniel sealed up until the end time of the Jews, Daniel 10:14.  Further Jesus said in Luke 21:22, that when Jerusalem was destroyed Luke 21:20, then all things written may be fulfilled.  Further if all was not fulfilled by Christ in Matthew 5:17 by A.D. 70 then Matthew 16:27-28 is in error. We have no kingdom, yet Christ has not come.  We have some of the Apostles Alive today!  Read verse 28.  We do not have salvation, Hebrew 9:28, 1 Peter 1:3-5.  We do not have grace 1 Peter 1:13.  Why?  Because Christ has not come back, but we have these blessings; they came through the Jews as was promised.  So Christ has come back the “Second Time.” And all had to be accomplished before Daniels seventy week expired.

Conclusion of the Whole Matter

If we learn nothing else let us learn first of all that the Bible was not written to Gentiles with the exception, and that being the book of Jonah and Genesis the New Testament for the most part was written to Jewish and Gentile churches.  However, it is profitable to know that both Jew and Gentile received the same instructions, and that being written from the spiritual Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31 ff.  No different instructions were given Gentiles.

Old Testament Prophets with the exception of Jonah Prophesied in favor of God grafting the Gentiles into the Spiritual Covenant.  However, the Jew would have first choice.

After their acceptance to the Gospel was not favorable Christ took the kingdom from them and gave it to a nation who would produce fruits from it, Matthew 21:43.

About this time the Gentiles were grafted into the stock of Israel, Romans 11:1-36, Romans 15:1-12.

Therefore, God ordered it written as a copy of the plan He had written before the foundation of the world, in the beginning.  He said it I believe it.

As truth seekers, we must understand that there are at least four major truths the reader has pressing need to understand they are:

In keeping the Lord’s command 2 Timothy 3:15, “study to show thy self approved unto God.”  I believe that I can speak to all, and say that we need a closer and more sincere study in the Book of Daniel.  Through Daniel God set forth the fact that the book and the calamities was directed to his people exclusively the Jews.

The Gentiles has no message from God.  If we notice carefully Daniel 7:7, we find it is a continuation of Deut 28:48-68.  In verses 48-68 God described the Roman Emprise as the Gentiles who would trample under foot the nation of Judah and Jerusalem the holy city, Luke 21:20-24.

Christ made clear in Matthew 5:17 that He did not come to abolish the law, Fulfilled prophecy would do that by the passing of the physical covenant, Hebrew 8:13.  Christ came to fulfill.  When He came in 70 A.D. the covenant of Hebrew 8:13 were obsolete!

Perhaps you have tried to read Kenneth L. Gentry regarding his critique of the full Preterist view, if so you have noticed the new word (non Biblical) “Theonomic.”  This word is not found in the Bible, or in the “Britannica World Language Dictionary.”

But the Word “theologize” is there, the meaning to devise or fit something into a system of theology.  Such is done to try and prove a persons own position.

No one can be consistent when one section of fulfilled prophecy is accepted, and other sections denied.  Christ was very clear in, Luke 21:20,22.  Who will deny scripturally what I have stated from the Mouth of God.

Daniel 10:14 the Angel Michael informs Daniel.  “Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in latter days.”  Daniel’s people referred to here, as the Jews.  No Gentiles mentioned.

The Phrase “Latter Days” were not ever intended to be interpreted as being the end of the universe, rather the end of the Jewish Covenant of Hebrew 8:13; and the end of the nation Judah, and Israel.

Also the phrase the “day that is coming” Zechariah 14:1-9 was that same day that Moses wrote in regards to in Deut 28:48-68.  It was a fair warning from God if the Jews did not diligently obey Him this would be the end results.  Not the end of the World.

So when Deut. 28:48-68 were fulfilled Daniel’s seventy weeks would be expired in 70 A.D.  The Prophecy in no way indicts the Gentiles.  The calamities mentioned in the book of Revelation, which in the seven churches of Asia were found both Jew and Gentiles, and since the Gentiles had been grafted in to the stock of Israel, Acts Chapter 10 so many Gentiles suffered as a result of the wickedness of the Jews.  However, the book was not directed to the Gentiles.  This becomes very interesting in regards to what Christ said when Jerusalem was encompassed by armies Luke 21:20, you may know that her desolation is at hand, verse 22 Luke 21.  These are the days of vengeance – What days?  The days when Jerusalem would be destroyed, these are the days when all things written would be fulfilled.

May we say that if Revelation was written as late as A.D. 90? (1) Either it will never be fulfilled. Why? Answer, because it did not meet the deadline of, Luke 21:22.  (2).  If it was written later than A.D. 70, we should not accept it for Zechariah 13:3 states that after that day, meaning the “Second Coming” if anyone prophesies his mother and father should kill him!  Which means that when Daniel’s seventy weeks expired in 70 A.D., then we were in the new heaven and earth all new government under the control of Christ, Revelation 11:15.

There is just no future “Second Coming” no new paradise earth where there is no physical death.

Daniel 12:1 “And there will be a time of distress such as has never occurred since there was a nation.”  (Singular the nation of Israel) until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book will be rescued”, Micah 2:12-13.  Another common sense proof that Jesus Christ came the “Second Time” in the destruction of Jerusalem.  Daniel 12:6,” one of the Angels asked another.  “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?”

Daniel 12:7, the question is answered by the Angel Michael from above the Waters.”  As soon as they “They who?” Rome and the Gentiles in Luke 21:24,  “finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.”  Shiloh, will have come and fulfilled the prophecy of Jacob, Genesis 49:10 when he came and removed the scepter from Judah. The scepter simply put, the covenant of Hebrews 8:13. When the scepter was removed the covenant was expired and obsolete.  So Shiloh according to God’s Word Daniel 9:24-25, had come before the seventy weeks expired in 70 A.D.

A question for the futurist, (as they are called by men).

Why would Jesus bring the Resurrected dead with Him from heaven to receive a body suitable for life on earth if he’s going to take them back to heaven where they already had a body suitable for life there?  Beside all this, it is God who brings with Him those who had fallen asleep in Jesus.  1 Thess. 4:14, this is the same Coming of God seen in Zechariah 14:5.  This is pertinent to God moving His personal sanctuary from Heaven to earth, Ezekiel 37:26-28.  Ezekiel 40:2, Ezekiel 43:7, then John sees Him having arrived on earth, Revelation 21:1-6.  Revelation 21:6, God so stated “It is done.”  All things have been completed, fulfilled the seventy weeks expired.

Think about what Matthew 24 really teaches.  Think about all the information Christ gives in order to answer the question of the Apostles in Matthew 24:3.  To be sure that Christ put all these things in a time frame that everyone could know the time for these events were not thousands of years down the road He used the phrase for “then,” Matthew 24:21, and that Greek word is “tote” which means right now. You see there is so much that people has been misled into believing.  Yes, it is time we begin to study for self.

Another important thing under (3) would the reader consider Zechariah 13:3 “In that day” the evil spirit (Satan) would be removed from the land.  Fulfilled in Revelation 20:10.  Also in “that day.”  If anyone prophesied after that day his mother and father were to run him through with the sword!  Think what this would do to John writing the Revelation after “that day,” as late as 90 A.D.?  I will let you answer that.

Daniel 9:24 “seventy weeks have been decreed for you people and your Holy City.”

When the seventy weeks have been completed that is all, that is the time of removal of the covenant from Judah and the covenant of Jeremiah takes its spiritual place in the world.

“Seal up vision and Prophecy.”  After A.D. 70 there would be no more visions, no more prophecy.  So, if John wrote the Revelation later than 70 A.D., he was in much trouble running from his parents in fear of death, Zechariah 13:3.

Therefore, we must think in terms of God’s plans as being inspired by God.  2 Timothy 3:16, and further.  God wrote the plans for earth and mankind before the foundation of the world, in short in the beginning Genesis 1:1.  He wrote plans that would be fulfilled in His Son.  Plans, which would offer to mankind redemption, salvation, grace through Christ.  When He decreed through His Son that these plans would be fulfilled, then they were fulfilled!  God cannot lie.  “There is no variation, or shifting shadow, James 1:17.

The above being true, there remains some important questions regarding fulfilled prophecy, and the coming of Christ in His Glory.

Question 1:  If John wrote the Revelation as late as the futurist lay claim to (in the reign of Domitian, 81-96 A.D.) he would have not been released from Patmos.  Yet the scripture informs us in Revelation 10:7-11 that John was to “Prophesy again concerning many people and nations and tongues and kings.”  How could John accomplish this being himself dead?  Yes the evidence is overwhelming of his death.  Can the futurist answer this scripturally?

Question 2: Revelation 21:23-27 makes some statements, which are impossible to understand without total fulfillment.  Relating to the Holy, and Spiritual City of God the Angel declares that God and the Lamb is the light in the Holy City, further, there will be no night there.  And, the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of earth shall bring the Glory into it.  And nothing sinful shall ever come into it.  Has this been fulfilled?  All this pertains to the Gospel today?  And do we have the then Holy City, the kingdom today, Matthew 16:27-28?  Suppose it is not fulfilled where did the People and Kings carry their glory too?

Question 3: Did God mislead Christ in Luke 21:20-32, in saying that when Jerusalem (the harlot city) be surrounded by armies, that these were days of vengeance on God’s part and that all things written may be fulfilled?

I recall that these books were not written at the time Christ gave this information, but were written as the Holy Spirit gave the writers utterance.  John 16:13 bears up this evidence.  Further Acts 2:4-46 also bears up the fact that on Pentecost the Holy Spirit arrived and gave to the Apostles utterances, which they proclaimed on that day.  The Holy Spirit uses the Word generation in Acts 2:40, the same Greek Word is used in Luke 21:32, Matthew 24:34.  The Holy Spirit confirmed fulfilled prophecy in Acts 2:16.

Question 4:  Can a man deny the Holy Spirit and be in Christ?  Have we given the Holy Spirit credit for writing the New Testament, using various men?

Question 5:  What does God decree in regards to blasphemy or speaking against the Holy Spirit – no forgiveness, Matthew 12:32.

And to think that the futurist uses these books as if they had no author to teach long term scare tactics, frighten people into some church, simply for the sake of money and great numbers.  It is really absurd to even think that Christ would return set up his throne, rebuild the harlot city of Jerusalem and Temple, live on earth without physical death, Isaiah certainly did not think so when he wrote, Isaiah, 25:1-2.

World burning! Perhaps the futurist has not seen Genesis 8:20-22, Eccl 1:4, Psalm 78:69, Psalm 93:1, Psalm 104:5, Psalm 119:90, Psalm 148:1-6, Daniel 7:13-14, or perhaps they would like to study this document and give me a scriptural rebuttal of it. I am set for the defense of the truth of the Holy Spirit, Phil. 1:6.
